Composition-reasoning “Who can be called a hero of our time. Composition-reasoning "Who can be called a hero of our time? Who from modern society can be called a hero?"
Each time has its own heroes. Not all of them are well known. Take a look around: heroes live among us. They do not stand out in any way, sometimes they do not have awards. But if others recognize a person as special, consider his actions extraordinary - he is already a hero. He can be distinguished by his wisdom, intelligence, modesty and reliability.
The word "hero" sounds like something significant, rare, even exceptional. It should be so. A hero-man is capable of feat both in wartime and in peacetime. He is driven by loyalty to duty, service to people and self-sacrifice. Hero of the era. The son of his Fatherland ... Our ancestors, grandmothers and grandfathers are the most sincere and wise people. They sacredly keep the memory of the past. Their modest dwellings, like museums, preserve family heirlooms, medals, letters, photographs, coins, postcards.
All these memorabilia are silent witnesses of a bygone era. They connect the past with the present with secret threads. This is how the story goes that these artifacts illustrate. Each face in the old photo, names, patronymics, surnames have an inner meaning. And the search for this meaning is of considerable interest.
I want to tell you about my great-grandfather. The life of Evgeny Mikhailovich Platonov is a whole historical era. In December, my hero will celebrate his 94th birthday. The events developing in the country did not bypass the great-grandfather. There were both sorrows and joys. He lived in marriage with his great-grandmother for 58 years, as the people say: soul to soul, hand in hand. For a long time already, the old people had partaken of the "golden wedding", but they have maintained warm relations to this day.
My great-grandfather was born on December 28, 1921 in the town of Melenki, Vladimir region. The history of our family is intertwined with the history of the picturesque village of Selino, Melenkovsky district. At the age of 8, Zhenya Platonov entered school. Studying was easy, I got only excellent marks. After graduating from the 7th grade, he continued his studies, received a secondary education. Seeing her son's craving for further knowledge, his mother sent him to the city to his uncle.
In 1939, Yevgeny Platonov became a student at the Gorky Polytechnic Institute. Zhdanov. In parallel with his studies, he was fond of photography, attended a photo club and an flying club. From there he was drafted into the army, had many thanks from the command. At that time, the young man often dreamed of his native village and collective farm. He missed home, but fate delayed the meeting for many years.
On June 22, 1941, the joy of fresh greenery after the first summer rains was overshadowed by a tragic message - war. Private Platonov was among the first to leave for the front. At the railway station, drawn-out locomotive whistles drowned out the voices of those seeing off and the sounds of the accordion. "Get up, huge country", "Farewell of a Slav" ... Front. A rare joy is letters from home. Seizing a free moment, Yevgeny re-read the triangular sheets, neatly covered with familiar handwriting.
The soldier Platonov ended up under the Belarusian town of Chausy. Part of the fighting withdrew to the east. Out of provisions and ammunition. The veteran recalls: the Germans were driving along the roads, and the Red Army soldiers were forced to retreat in forests and swamps. An unequal battle ensued in one of the Smolensk villages. Due to his injury, Eugene was taken prisoner.
Until March 42, he was in a prisoner of war camp near Smolensk. Relatives received a notification that Platonov was missing. In the cold winter, a huge number of prisoners perished daily from hunger and disease. By the spring, out of thousands, only a few hundred survived.
The invaders decided to send the surviving fighters to Germany, having previously arranged a medical examination. In a long, narrow room, a circle was drawn on the floor with chalk. The prisoners, naked to the waist, were ordered to take turns to stand in the center. A German in a white coat asked the only question: "Sick?" To admit to being unwell was tantamount to death. The emaciated people who could hardly stand on their feet insisted that they were healthy. Although they looked more like skeletons covered in yellow skin.
The selected prisoners were driven to a foreign land. They were fed with steamed turnips and bread with sawdust. Soldering - 200 grams per day. In Germany, I had to work hard and endure humiliation. At the end of the war, the Americans transported Platonov to the Soviet zone of occupation. He continued to serve in the automobile regiment.
Evgeny Platonov was awarded the medal "For Courage" and has other insignia. But the awards found the hero after the war. In December 1945, he was demobilized and returned home. Mostly widows and orphans remained in their native village. Half of the villagers did not return from the war. Soon, Eugene met the beautiful Anna and in the 46th they got married.
Platonov dreamed of completing higher education, but the school needed a teacher. His wife Anna Semyonovna was already working as a teacher at that time. In 1959 he graduated from the Physics and Mathematics of the Ivanovo Pedagogical Institute. He taught physics and mathematics at Selinsky secondary school, led a photo circle for the children. He loved school, and the children responded in kind. Many of the students followed in the footsteps of their mentor and became respected people in the area. Later, Evgeny Mikhailovich worked as an inspector of labor training in the Melenkovsky district.
The fellow villagers speak about the Platonov family with warmth, set them up as an example, and still seek advice. Anna and Eugene lived in love and respect, raised two worthy children. On holidays, children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren barely fit at the family table. The Platonovs are always glad to welcome guests, their happy and hospitable home is open to everyone.
I am proud of the older generation of Platonovs and dream of continuing their work. I hope to become a good teacher as well. Great-grandfather and now does not sit idle: fishing, raising chickens and bees. There are more than 30 hives in the apiary. He also has a favorite hobby - repairing watches. And two years ago, Evgeny Mikhailovich received an invitation to visit Germany. Seven decades later, he visited familiar places. Now as a guest, with honor and respect.
Every weekend I try to visit my relatives. Rest in your favorite village charges you with vivacity. The impressions of summer mowing, fishing, spending the night by the fire, hiking for mushrooms and berries remain in the memory for a long time. Winter on rural streets is no less beautiful: there is no such pure snow with a blue color anywhere in Russia. And the air here is special, and the water in the well is the tastiest and coldest. And they are extraordinary people - sincere and welcoming.
I try to be a worthy heir to my great-grandfather and the Great Victory! After all, my ancestor Yevgeny Platonov is a Hero of his era. But he himself does not think so. Great-grandfather sincerely loves his homeland, so he endured adversity staunchly, worked honestly, gave all of himself to serving people. He is humble, wise and strikingly optimistic. The story of one family, as exemplified by my great-grandfather, is a mirror of the history of our country. And it cannot be otherwise.
How often I hear the phrase "Heroes are not born, they become heroes." And who is a hero? Does the interpretation of this word correspond to our time. The time of computers, the virtual world. The values, ideals of our dads and moms no longer surprise us. But what should modern youth strive for, what should they rely on?
The image of heroes is necessary for any state at any time, as a rule, the state, using the example of heroes, tries to show an example of imitation for the best people in society.
In my opinion, a hero? it is not necessarily the one who performs the feat with weapons in hand or fulfills his official duties. For me, a mother who has raised 6 children, of which, say, half are from orphanages? no less heroine; or people of labor and science who have brought world fame to Russia. Unfortunately, pop stars and children of wealthy parents, bandits and officials have become heroes in our society.
In the twentieth century, it was considered heroes, first of all, those who died in battle. Unfortunately, in our seemingly peaceful time there is a place for such feats. However, I do not consider it correct to associate the concept of "heroism" exclusively with war. And in support of my words, I would like to remind you about the television project of Channel Five, Real Heroes. The story of a resident of the village of Krasnodar Territory, who, as a teenager, saved the lives of more than a dozen people, is engraved in my memory. The bus got into an accident and drove off the road into the icy water. The 17-year-old guy was the only one who was able to get out of the car through the window, after which he swam to the shore, took a stone and returned to the bus to break the glass and save the others. And he went into the icy water more than once or twice. Many passengers did not know how to swim, and he helped them get to the coast, thereby saving their lives. Isn't this an example of heroism?
However, we would hardly have known about this case without the help of the media. And in this case, the television channel, realizing its social responsibility, fulfilled its duty. Without the help of journalists, it is almost impossible to form the image of a hero of the 21st century in the minds of young people. However, raising our children to be heroic in an emergency is the least that each of us can do.
Think Heroes? these are the people who use their courage, strength and courage not for evil, but only for the good of their Fatherland. The main quality of the Hero is selflessness, he does not live for himself. In today's peacetime, he is most likely inconspicuous and modest. But at the moment of danger, the Hero will stand up to his full height and shield his land and his people. Military feat has always been considered the height of patriotism and self-sacrifice. There are a lot of examples of this. Heroes of the Great Patriotic War not so long ago modestly walked our streets. And we, to our shame and shame, did not know their names, sometimes even a place in the trolleybus did not yield to them ...
Is it worth it, and most importantly, is it possible to expect from us, ungrateful, and from the children we have brought up a heroic deed for the sake of the Fatherland? Our future depends on the answer to this question. I think that the Russian media did everything possible and impossible to concoct and impose on the society the image of another “hero”? tough brother, killer, thief, oligarch, living in a posh mansion, weaving a thin web of intrigue to create a "scam". Turning on the TV, we will see that in “prime time”, when the whole family gathers at the TV, TV shows with these “heroes” are shown on all channels.
For each person at a certain stage of life, there is a hero. Assessing subjectively, we can say with firm confidence that each person has his own ideal. Thus, the concept of "Hero" is often identified with the concept of "Ideal". For toddlers, this is a fairy godmother or a valiant knight; for us, for high school children, these are, in most cases, screen stars; for high school students - these are, quite possibly, senior comrades! For students - businessmen, politicians, sometimes even scientists! Heroes for us are those people whom we would like to be like, those people whom we admire, whom we are proud of!
There are people that not only we and our loved ones know about, but who are admired by the whole country and even the whole world! Are there really such in the XXI century, you ask? There are many of them! Only for some reason, for some incomprehensible reason, we remember them only once every two years, and someone completely switches the channel when the broadcast of the Paralympic Games begins. Yes, now we are talking about the Paralympians. About people who, overcoming pain, difficulties achieve such heights that sometimes even a healthy person cannot do! Maybe it can be done, but due to my laziness and eternal employment, self-interest and greed, I will "run" long distances for profit, they forget about simple, earthly, even a little banal, as it is now customary to think, feelings: love, respect to elders, understanding and help to those who really need it! In the modern world, each person is fixated exclusively on himself and he absolutely does not care about the problems of others. Sometimes we often play heroes out of ourselves. We brag to our friends and colleagues what heights and victories we have achieved, forgetting about people who, despite all the difficulties of life, achieve a lot and do not shout about it at all corners. These are the guys who are our Paralympic athletes, who adequately represented our country at the last Winter Paralympic Games in Vancouver! Do you remember they took the second place in the overall standings, losing only one gold medal to the German national team !? And in terms of the total number of awards, our guys were the first! Remember? It is a pity that we remember the real heroes only when we are either forced, or we need it due to selfish goals. Not seeing beyond your nose is a problem for many modern people. And while there are guys like our Paralympians, our future is not hopeless.
The hero is currently the one who works tirelessly for his idea, going against everything that interferes with him. Heroes for us are those people whom we would like to be like, those people whom we admire, whom we are proud of! A person who is respectful, educated, sympathetic, strong in spirit, independent, ready for self-sacrifice can be called a hero, in my opinion.
Even in ancient Greece, society was divided into people, heroes and gods. If with the first everything is more or less clear, then with the second and third questions arise. Who are the gods? Who are the heroes? Why are they called that? How do they differ from each other and from people?
Later it became clear that the gods are something supernatural, something beyond understanding. They live far from everyone, rarely descend from heaven, are wise, smart, beautiful, but with the heroes the situation is somewhat different.
By and large, the hero is no different from all people, except that he is, in fact, a hero! Digging the annals of history is a long, difficult and often thankless task, so I propose to look at this concept through the prism of our current understanding, but with a reference to the past.
Who can be called a hero today?
Is Steve Jobs a hero? Jason Stethem? Paul Macartney? Alla Pugachev? Walt Disney? I think that most readers recognize the above personalities as heroes, because they are extraordinary, free in their actions, they are building their own future!
And tell me, the provincial Petya, who has been in a wheelchair since birth, can you call a hero? And the single mother Tatyana Vasilievna, who brings up two boys? And the soldier Ivanov, who puts his life at risk every day?
What do the first list and the second have in common? After all, Petya, Tatyana and Ivanov are unknown people, they do not write books about them, they do not make films, they do not try to copy them. But, you must admit, there is something heroic in them, maybe even a little more than that of the same Jobs or Macartney.
They also go forward, despite the fact that life and the environment can condemn them, put a spoke in their wheels, as if to say that they have their place and there is nothing to try to climb where they should not.
But what if the hero is a girl who is carrying a little kitten home? Maltsov who feed a stray dog? Volunteers helping veterans? And the veterans themselves ??? After all, the hero is not the one whom everyone admires. Ideals in society are too changeable. Today you can become a hero simply by saying that you are gay or you were able to make a million and no matter what way, because the winners (read heroes) are not judged!
Each of us can be called a hero
We all did things for which you can safely fire a volley into the sky and shout a three-fold Hurray! And if you communicate closely with any (even very evil at first glance) person, you understand that he does not want to hurt anyone, he lives like this, based on his understanding.
Let's remember the most famous mythological hero - Hercules (aka Hercules). Yes, he performed truly heroic deeds, but remember HOW he performed them! Was he really doing something supernatural?
For example, his battle with the hydra, in which two new ones grew from each cut off - Hercules found an ingenious solution - to burn the part of the neck where the head was cut off! Brilliant, but not supernatural! Read the legends about his other exploits - the situation is similar! Thinking outside the box and self-confidence is the main guarantee of success!
I believe that we should remind each other of our heroic nature, help each other on the right path, develop good habits and useful skills. This is true heroism! To be not indifferent to our loved ones, to form the environment, and not to escape from it into some other pseudo-correct one, because wherever we go, we take ourselves with us.
Change yourself, change everything around, be the main characters of your life and live consciously!

“Sometimes there are no names left from the heroes of the past…” For a Russian person, the words hero, feat, honor, selflessness have always had a certain moral meaning. Before those who, at the cost of their own lives, saved others, defended the interests of their country, fought for its freedom, worshiped. Their memory was immortalized in books, poems and songs. Probably, there is not a single city in Russia where there would be no monument to the valiant sons of the Fatherland.
Unfortunately, in our pragmatic world of consumption, many moral concepts have lost their true meaning. The same thing happened with the word “hero”. Very often people who honestly and with dignity fulfill their duties began to be called heroes. Who can be called the real hero of our time? How to see (notice) him in the frantic rhythm of our life? I believe that the true hero of our time is a person who acts primarily in the interests of society, who benefits him. My father, Sergey Valentinovich Akulin, is such a hero for me. The life of a soldier is impossible without awareness of responsibility not only for himself and his loved ones, but also for the whole country. At one time, thousands of officers took part in the counter-terrorist operation in Chechnya. My dad was one of its leaders. His task was not only to choose the right strategy to achieve the goal, but also to minimize possible losses. All military men are heroes, without exception. These people had a choice: to take off their shoulder straps or go to serve the Fatherland, risking their lives and the well-being of their families. This feat is not for the sake of orders, not for the sake of glory, but for the sake of a peaceful sky overhead.
The service never ends, there are no former officers. “Officers, officers, your heart is at gunpoint”, - is sung in one famous song. Daddy's heart was really always under the gun. Now, when shootings and explosions are somewhere in the past, dad spends evenings preparing for his next lecture or seminar. Somewhere in the closet, in the cases modestly lie medals for length of service ("15 years", "20 years", "25 years") given to Russia, the Order of Suvorov. Dad, of course, could have gone on a well-deserved rest long ago, but he considers it his duty to pass on his knowledge to the younger generation. He is respected by colleagues, friends, students, and, perhaps, there is no such area of knowledge in which he would not understand at all. This is a man of an amazing mindset.
Grandmother, Alevtina Nikolaevna Akulina, talked a lot about my father's school and student years. From early childhood, he was fond of sports, gave preference to skiing. Over time, the hobby grew into serious training: dad chose one of the most difficult and dangerous sports - ski jumping. As you know, any activity requires not only a waste of time, but also diligence. My father had to combine his studies with numerous trainings, and he did it, oddly enough, successfully: in the certificate not only there were no triples, but also fives - in a confident majority. Dad became the USSR master of sports in ski jumping, the best member of the youth team, its captain.
Years passed, and my father was forced to leave sports in order to get an education. Military service in Sevastopol determined the choice of my dad's main profession - first, service in the Marine Corps, later - operational work. Dad became a teacher at the FSB institute with the rank of lieutenant colonel. First an engineer, then a lawyer, and ultimately a teacher. Such different areas are capable of embracing a person and succeeding in everything. Dad often tells me: "You need to be able to do everything, you never know how, where and what skills you need."
Now, analyzing the stories of my grandmother and dad himself, I draw a parallel with my life and I cannot help but notice some similarities: I also combine my studies with extracurricular activities, the importance of which should not be underestimated. The need to excel at everything generates amazing performance and diligence. This is how dad lives, and this is how I live.
So who is he, the hero of our time? Here he is - a master of sports of the USSR, a participant in military operations, a candidate of sciences. This is the person to whom I owe everything that I now know and can do. I very often hear from others that my father and I are alike. I would like to believe that this is not only about external similarity. We have similar views on life and certain things, in character I inherited my father's restraint and determination. Dad taught me to be confident in myself, to appreciate my abilities, to calculate strength. The time will come when my father will be as proud of me as I am proud of him now.

Introduction
There have always been heroes. They were looked up to. They tried to imitate them. Since ancient times in Russia people have been revered who stood for a just cause, sacrificing themselves, defended the land - mother, worked for the glory of the Motherland. In literary works, in the canvases of artists, in the works of composers, the feat of the Russian people was sung.
The boys of pre-war times played Chapaev and Chkalov, admired the feat of the Chelyuskinites. Post-war children were equal to the pioneer heroes, Maresyev, Matrosov, and Gastello. Then Gagarin's flight and Leonov's spacewalk, the feat of the "cinematic" scouts Johann Weiss and Stirlitz evoked delight.
We often hear that all heroes lived in the past, heroism has no place in modern life, so we put forward this hypothesis: heroism has a place at any time. It's just that every time there are heroes. And the question arises who we can call the hero of our time.
Purpose of work: to find out who the heroes are and whether they exist in our time?
Tasks:
Find out the meaning of the word "hero"
Conduct a survey among classmates.
Learn about the Hero of Russia award
Collect visual, factual and statistical material about the Heroes of Russia.
Create a booklet "Heroes of Our Time".
Who is a hero?
In order to find out who the hero is, we decided to turn to the dictionaries. In the explanatory dictionary of V.I. Dahl says: “The hero is
Knight, brave warrior, valiant warrior, hero, miracle warrior.
A valiant companion, most importantly, the first person. "
And in the explanatory dictionary of the Russian language, edited by D.V. Dmitriev, we saw the following dictionary entry:
Hero- this is a courageous, fearless person who, risking his life, commits bold, unusual in his courage actions.
Heroes of the Great Patriotic War. | To fall, to perish as a hero, as a hero, by the death of a hero. | Monument to the hero.| 2. A folk or national hero is a person whose courage and fearlessness arouses the admiration of a large number of people inhabiting this or that country, representing this or that nation.
Jan Hus is the national hero of the Czech people.
3. In spoken language a hero they also call a person who attracts everyone's attention, arouses interest, admiration, etc., is for someone an object of worship, a role model, etc.
Hero of the day. | The walls were hung with portraits of the Decembrists, heroes of grandfather's tumultuous youth. | After his brilliant speech, he became a real hero of the conference.
4. A hero is also called the character of a work of art.
Thus, we can conclude that a hero is, first of all, a man endowed with courage, brave and courageous, ready to perform a feat for the common good.
Let's try on the basis of this definition to compose a portrait of a modern hero.
The hero performs an "act of self-sacrifice for the common good." That is, he sacrifices himself for the sake of someone: a friend, parents, children, ordinary passers-by, friends, his city, country. What kind of donations can he make? He can donate his time to help a lost boy find his mother, or to save the dying Ussuri tigers. He may not sacrifice, but risk his health by caring for a grandmother with the flu or saving a drowning person. He can donate his money to help orphanages or to save African children from hunger. Much can be sacrificed for someone else. But, it's not enough just to donate, you need to do it completely disinterestedly and know for sure that your help is needed. Selflessness, courage, mobilization of one's physical and spiritual forces, feat, courage, selfless search for truth, hard work, risk - these are the qualities that are inherent in real heroes.
Results of the survey
To find out who is considered a hero by modern schoolchildren, we conducted a survey among students in grade 6 B. The results are as follows.
The guys continued the sentence "The hero is ..." as follows:
A person who helps everyone. (13 people)
A person who is able to accomplish a feat. (1 person)
A person who does good deeds. (4 persons)
The person who saved someone. (1 person)
A person who helps just like that. (3 persons)
Super cartoon characters. (3 persons)
The next question, who can become a hero in our time, caused difficulty:
They don’t know. (6 persons)
Caring people. (4 persons)
Who will change into super cartoon characters. (1 person)
Do good deeds. (3 persons)
Anyone. (7 persons)
Dad (1 person)
Military. (1 person)
Volunteer. (1 person)
Who helps everyone. (1 person)
After analyzing the answers of classmates, the author of the work came to the conclusion that the portrait of a modern hero, in the opinion of sixth-graders, turns out to be somehow not very clear and blurry. However, it should be noted that all respondents understand that a caring and kind person can become a hero.

Gorshkov Anatoly Petrovich- a leader of the Soviet state security agencies, one of the leaders of the defense of the city of Tula and partisan operations during the Great Patriotic War, Major General. Hero of Russia posthumously. (from 6 September 2016)
Having considered this list, we can conclude that in 2016 cosmonauts, military personnel, a police officer and an employee of state security agencies became Heroes of Russia. The large number of servicemen on this list is explained, in our opinion, by the fact that the Russian army took part in hostilities in Syria in 2016. Unfortunately, many of the heroes accomplished the feat at the cost of their own lives, but the memory of themselves and their actions will support us for a long time and serve as an example to follow.
Children Heroes of Russia
People who have brought great benefits to their country, every inhabitant of it should know by sight. Unfortunately, in this work we will not be able to list all the heroes of Russia. Over the 25 years of the award's existence, 1,042 people have become Heroes of Russia, of which 474 have been posthumous. Among those who performed heroic deeds, only 11 women. Most of them are military, law enforcement and intelligence officers. There are also astronauts, doctors, scientists and other prominent people. The title of Hero of Russia and the Gold Star medal are given only once in a lifetime. Only a select few, of whom there are few, become their owners. There are children among them. The Order of Courage was posthumously awarded to two boys: Zhenya Tabakov and Danil Sadykov.
Zhenya Tabakov- the youngest hero of Russia. He was 7 years old. He died saving his 12-year-old sister Yana from a criminal attack when his parents were not at home. Zhenya grabbed a kitchen knife and stuck it into the criminal's lower back. The girl managed to run out of the apartment for help. In a rage, the criminal, having pulled the knife out of himself, began to thrust it into the child, after which he fled. However, the wound inflicted by Zhenya did not allow him to escape from the pursuit. By the decree of the President of the Russian Federation of January 20, 2009, Evgeny Evgenievich Tabakov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage for courage and dedication shown in the performance of his civic duty.
Danil Sadykov. This incident took place in Tatarstan, in Naberezhnye Chelny on May 5, 2012. A twelve-year-old teenager Danil Sadykov was riding a bicycle past the fountain and heard screams - adults crowded around the fountain and called for help. A boy fell into the fountain. None of the adults dared to save the drowning man. And Danil did not hesitate and threw himself into the water. He managed to pull the victim onto the side of the fountain. But both received an electric shock. The injured boy, Andrei, was taken to the hospital in serious condition, and Danil died without regaining consciousness - the electric shock turned out to be too strong for him. The boy was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage.
Conclusion
So, who is he - the hero of our time? Having completed this work, we believe that the hero of our time can be called a person who does not pay attention to difficulties, does his job in good faith, brings up children and helps those who are with him. Heroism is the provision of gratuitous assistance and support in extreme situations to other people, in exceptional cases at the cost of their health or even life, that is, it is not only the rescue of drowning people, but also help to the victims, moral and material. Heroic acts often have to be done by one, because of the criminality, negligence and carelessness of others. However, this does not diminish the surprise and admiration of modern heroes. Just as there are no fewer heroes themselves who are ready to sacrifice themselves for the sake of others, the facts we have collected are proof of this.
Thus, it can be noted that the goal set by us has been achieved, since we managed to find out who they are the heroes of our time. We have confirmed the hypothesis that there is a place for heroism at any time, just at each time - its heroes. All the tasks set by us have been completed.
In conclusion, I would like to say that people are not born heroes, they become. The social environment, society has always needed heroes and patriots. Every time requires its own exploits. Heroic acts are also committed by ordinary people in difficult circumstances, it is not necessary to be a police officer or the owner of a black belt - anyone can perform a heroic act in an extreme situation, you just need to have something inside that will push you to action, something that makes a person human. Sometimes such valiant people are awarded medals, orders, and if they do without any signs, then human memory and gratitude. We propose to make it a tradition in our school to hold class hours dedicated to the Day of Heroes on December 9 every year. Our attention and knowledge of our heroes is the best tribute to the memory of such people and their valiant deeds.

The word “hero” sounds like something significant, rare, even exceptional.
The life of Evgeny Mikhailovich Platonov -
a whole historical era. In December, my hero will celebrate his 94th birthday. The events developing in the country did not bypass the great-grandfather. There were both sorrows and joys. He lived in marriage with his great-grandmother for 58 years, as the people say: soul to soul, hand in hand. For a long time already, the old people took part in the “golden wedding”, but they have kept warm relations to this day.
“Get up, huge country”, “Farewell of a Slav” ... Front. A rare joy is letters from home. Seizing a free moment, Yevgeny re-read the triangular sheets, neatly covered with familiar handwriting.
Evgeny Platonov was awarded the medal “For Courage” and has other insignia. But the awards found the hero after the war. In December 1945, he was demobilized and returned home. Mostly widows and orphans remained in their native village. Half of the villagers did not return from the war. Soon, Eugene met the beautiful Anna and in the 46th they got married.

A world without heroes would become insipid and would not last long. Is it possible to imagine a society in which no one risks his life to save another, does not set great goals? In ancient times, heroes differed from the gods only in that they were mortals. Today the concept of "hero" has become much broader. Anyone can become one whose lifestyle is of interest and admiration, reflects the features of the era. We asked the Khabarovsk citizens, which of the contemporaries is worthy of this title?
The majority of respondents consider the head of state, Vladimir Putin, to be a hero. The results of our survey do not contradict sociological studies - the rating of the President of the Russian Federation is at a consistently high level.
The second most popular answer is “every sincere, selfless, kind person who helps others can become a hero”. Journalist Roman Pantsyrev believes that the real heroes of their time often remain behind the scenes, or in the past. “The hero may be some Ivan Ivanovich from a small village. He lives a hundred kilometers from the city, he has his own house, a small business in agriculture, a family. He is independent of geopolitical factors, and most importantly, he is happy and gives joy to others. "
“A priest who himself was wounded, but helped people who were injured in a bus accident on the Khabarovsk - Komsomolsk-on-Amur highway. I didn’t remember his name, but the act itself remained in my memory forever, ”said choirmaster Anna Khrustova.
About 15% of respondents consider combatants, rescuers and policemen to be heroes. They also talked about the nurses who died in Syria - Nadezhda Durachenko and Galina Mikhailova. About 5% of Khabarovsk residents remembered Doctor Liza (Elizaveta Glinka) - the founder of the first children's hospice in Ukraine and the Fair Help Foundation in Russia.
For 5% of the respondents, the heroes are scientists and inventors who have achieved success. Among them are Nobel Prize winners in physics David Thoules, Duncan Haldane and Michael Costerlitz, founder of the American aerospace company Elon Max and programmer Mark Zuckerberg.
A mother of many children who has raised her children with dignity is a hero of our time for 4% of the survey participants. Up to 1% of the respondents, talking about heroes, remembered about famous actors and singers. 11th grade student Artem Korolev notes that the real hero is a good teacher. At the same time, about 7% of the respondents found it difficult to answer.
Different heroes are needed, all sorts of heroes are important. One thing unites them - noble deeds. They can be in the thick of things or remain behind the scenes. They save, build, heal, teach, invent, inspire. Admiring them and carefully observing the lives of the heroes, perhaps we are getting better.

True, everyone would also like to feel reciprocity in response to the manifestation of their own love feelings. That his words “I love ...” be accepted. True love is a feeling that implies [...] ...
- Deeply mistaken is the interpretation of Chatsky as the image of a "superfluous person", a groundless "dreamer", "a lonely Protestant." Chatsky himself felt himself on the soil of the "present century" and did not at all recognize himself as lonely. In Chatsky there is neither the romantic demonism inherent in Byronic heroes, nor the proud misanthropy of Pushkin's Aleko. His image is, as it were, contrasted with the disappointed romantics depicted by Pushkin in his southern poems. Chatsky does not [...] ...
- The work of MA Bulgakov “The Master and Margarita” is a complex, multi-layered novel. It is also a life romance. Bulgakov, it seems to me, put into him all his creative skills, made his beliefs available to readers, everything that he believed in, everything that he thought about. This is the culmination of Bulgakov's work. The novel is very unusual both in its content and [...] ...
- Turgenev saw in the image of Bazarov "a tragic face." One cannot but agree with this, his “reflective nihilist” has his own point of view, but does not know how to apply knowledge in practice. The views of the rebel are especially vividly revealed in moments of disputes with Pavel Kirsanov. The self-confident Bazarov rejects social foundations and traditional values. He criticizes religion, existing principles and social shit in [...] ...
- Among the other characters in the play, Kuligin, the self-taught watchmaker who invents the perpetuum mobile, stands alone. He is very different from those around him. And therefore, the attitude towards him from other characters is also very special. Literally at the very beginning of the play, the reader gets the opportunity to get acquainted with Kuligin's delight, which he expresses, admiring the beauty of his native nature. This scene indicates that [...] ...
- The comedy "Woe from Wit" belongs to those few works of world art that do not lose their popularity over time. This is because the main idea of the comedy is directed towards the future. Each generation sees something of its own in such works, interprets them in the spirit of its time. That is why, throughout the second half of the 19th century, disputes about [...] ...
- Eugene Onegin is the first Russian realistic novel and the only novel in verse in Russian literature. The complexity of the image of E. Onegin can be traced throughout the entire novel. This is at least in the fact that we see how much Onegin is different at the beginning and at the end of the novel. At the beginning of the novel, this is a young womanizer who travels from ball to ball. [...] ...
- Oblomov, the protagonist of the novel by the Russian writer I. A. Goncharov, can be called an “extra” person for several reasons. One of them is pretty obvious. The novel was published shortly before the great peasant reform. Against the background of all the characters, and especially in contrast to the active, very active and purposeful Stolz, lazy Oblomov appears before the reader as an obvious lazy person, superfluous, completely stupid [...] ...
- A. P. Chekhov, with his play "The Cherry Orchard", which is considered fairly well-known in Russian literature, has shown an example of an innovative approach to the transmission of old ideas in a new style. The author makes fun of the actions of the heroes of the work. They reveal the true depth of their experiences and sensations. They have become the personification of helplessness in the face of this world. Characters are idiots - they are all heroes without exception [...] ...
- Have you ever thought about the mysteries of the unknown world? Why do people believe in mysticism, and how does occult science differ from pseudoscience? Can scientists who were once carried away by occultism be considered pseudoscientists? These questions were asked by Anatoly Sukhotin in his research. The publicist appeals primarily to a wide audience so that his conclusions are understandable and interesting to society. Sukhotin is convinced: [...] ...
- I am not blinded by my Muse, they will not call her Beauty, And the young men, seeing her, will not run after her in a crowd of love. To lure with an exquisite dress, I play with the eyes, with a brilliant conversation She has no inclination, no gift. But sometimes the light of Her face is struck by an uncommon expression ... E. A. Baratynsky Pushkin called Tatyana Larina, the main character [...] "a sweet ideal" (8, LI) ...
- The novel by I. S. Turgenev "Fathers and Sons" shows Russian society at the end of the 1850s. This time in Russia was marked by violent political disputes on the eve of the abolition of serfdom. All of Russia, in fact, split into two opposing camps: the liberal nobles and the revolutionary democrats of the commoners. Both sides understood the need for change, but presented them in different ways. The revolutionary democrats adhered to [...] ...
- Undoubtedly, the relationship between E. Onegin and V. Lensky cannot be called true friendship: after all, the motives of their union are fragile and unreliable. Friends have almost nothing in common: they have different interests, ideas and goals, and they relate to life in very different ways. It is no coincidence that the author says about them: "ice and fire" ... The only thing that unites the heroes is a boring life in [...] ...
- Who can be called a true man in the street - this is the question posed in the text by V. Nabokov. The author thinks about the essence of the layman, who prefers only material values in life. He is not interested in painting, art, or reading books, and just for the sake of prestige, he can willingly hang popular reproductions of Van Gogh in the living room. The bourgeois does not read classical literature, rarely [...] ...
- Each person has their own dreams and goals that they want to achieve in different ways. In the analyzed text, V.S. Krasnogorov raises the problem of hard work and rewards for their work. This problem is relevant at all times, because every person has goals and dreams. The author, with vivid examples from the life of an outstanding scientist, reveals the problem of the text. He shows […]...
- “In this novel, Christ, the devil, and crooks, and the common people act. The book resembles an ice drift, when ice floes float, crowding, replacing each other, different in size and color; on one of them a bundle of hay, on the other a doghouse, on the third a grave cross turned out of the ground. Everything is here: the death of Ha-Nozri on the cross, and a fantastic ball [...] ...
