Postcards for teachers' day scrapbooking voluminous. Beautiful cards for Teacher's Day with your own hands: new ideas
If you are interested in the bright Teacher's Day card shown in the final photo, then after reading this lesson you will understand how to make it. It is easy to do, and you can use ready-made items or create them yourself. Usually, on such themed crafts, it is customary to depict autumn leaves, because we all celebrate Teacher’s Day in early October, as well as all kinds of stationery. Let's not deviate from this tradition and create our own variation of a unique postcard.
Materials for creating a postcard:
Watercolor paper;
- White paper;
- pink paper with a pattern;
- green and orange watercolors;
- figured hole punch in the shape of a leaf;
- black gel pen;
- various clippings from magazines in the form of stationery;
- a piece of lace or satin ribbon;
- figured edge puncher;
- scissors;
- glue.
How to make a postcard for Teacher's Day step by step
If you have a leaf-shaped hole punch, it will make your work as easy as possible. You can create many different crafts and cards using this tool. However, you can draw the leaves yourself, then cut them out or print the templates on a printer. Beautiful leaves are obtained not only from colored paper, but also from paper painted with watercolors. Use green and orange watercolor paints, white paper and a brush. First paint the paper. Try to do this casually so that the surface of future leaves is unevenly covered. Then wait until the sheet dries and make leaf blanks using a hole punch.
Start creating the base of the card. The bottom part will be a sheet of watercolor paper folded in half, and on top you can attach beautiful pink paper with a pattern. Also take two white stripes. Process each of them with a special hole punch and stick it in the form of a path on pink paper. You can make the same drawing as in the photo, or come up with your own version.
Glue the pink leaf onto the base. Next, attach the autumn leaves prepared in the first stage in 2 rows, alternating them by color.
Attach a strip of beautiful lace in the center, masking the tails of the leaves. The beautiful base of the card is ready.
Next you need to create a composition from stationery cuttings. If you don’t have a store in your city that specializes in scrapbooking products, then you can draw these elements by hand or print them. Another possible option is this. If you are doing a card with children, then look through old magazines or used notebooks. You will definitely find suitable drawings on the covers and inside. Cut them out and assemble a composition that is perfect for filling a postcard. These could be stacks of notebooks, books, pencils and pens, backpacks, a globe, and so on.
The month of September is coming, school days have begun, and it's time to get ready for Teacher's Day. I made a card with an unusual shape and voluminous decorations.
I associate Teacher's Day not only with school, but also with a beautiful time of year - autumn. This holiday is celebrated in October, and by this time many trees will have changed their color. As a child, I, like many, loved to collect beautiful fallen leaves - yellow, red, red. The shades of autumn foliage set the tone of the postcard.
The card is so big that it needs to be tied with a bow. I decided that the outside should also be decorated and an inscription should be made to whom the card is addressed.
It is immediately obvious that there is some kind of surprise in the card.
If you untie the bow, the card “blooms.” It has several additions or several levels. The “lid” folds back and serves as a support so that the postcard can stand steadily.
The card is decorated with autumn leaves, a small pencil and a mini notebook. I recently published.
I think I managed to combine the school and fall themes in the card. I also believe that unusually shaped postcards are truly surprising and distinguish handmade items from mass-produced items.

Tell me, who is the teacher? A teacher is a person who teaches children at school.
Since ancient times, the teacher has been an important person. And why?
Because the teacher is (children's answers)
- good friend and helper,
- gives knowledge;
- will help you understand everything that is in your head;
- will always praise you;
- says such words, and you remember them for the rest of your life;
- prevents you from doing bad things;
- explains everything well and the student remembers everything;
- teaches us life.
You're right, it's not in vain that they say
If there were no teacher,
It probably wouldn’t have happened
Neither poet nor thinker,
Neither Shakespeare nor Copernicus.
And to this day, probably,
If there were no teacher,
Undiscovered Americas
Remained unopened. (V. Tushnova)
And after many years you will remember your teachers, and your teachers will remember you - their students. And there is a day when everyone can express their gratitude to the teacher. It is World Teachers' Day, which is celebrated on October 5th.
Today we will makepostcard for Teacher's Day using scrapbooking technique .
A little history about scrapbooking
Scrapbooking is a type of decorative and applied art that involves the exquisite design of personal and family history items: photographs and photo albums, drawings, newspaper clippings and simply pleasant little things.
This name came into Russian from English: scrapbook is “scrap” - “piece” and “book” - “book”, that is, it literally means a book consisting of “pieces” of life, memories, history.
The emergence of scrapbookingDespite the fact that scrapbooking gained popularity not so long ago, its history is long: back in Ancient Greece, there were “hypomnema” - notebooks, on the pages of which people recorded the necessary information. In the XIV-XVI centuries, “commonplace books” appeared in England for the same purposes. But the first mention of albums with newspaper clippings was mentioned only in 1598: at that time aphorisms, verses and entire poems were collected, pasted into ordinary notebooks and supplemented with their own comments. In 1686, even a memo book by John Locke was published, which told how best to prepare such records.
But a strong impetus for the development of scrapbooking was the book “Biographical History of England” published in 1775 by James Granger. Its content did not arouse much interest among the public, but the same cannot be said about the design: the author used a little trick and left several pages of the publication blank, giving the reader the opportunity to personalize the book. British intellectuals were delighted with this idea, so many writers began to publish similar “cunning” books.
But scrapbooking, in the modern sense, arose only after the invention of photography, in 1826 in Germany. Photo albums with images and engravings began to be published here, and soon, in 1830, the term “scrapbooking” itself appeared. Soon, in the form of handicrafts, it begins to spread to other countries, resulting in fame throughout the world.
