Mannik in vegetable oil with chocolate chips. Recipes for manna with kefir cooked in the oven are simple and tasty. To bake manna with kefir without flour you need to take
1. Manna with raisins
We will need:
1 cup semolina
-1 glass of kefir
-0.5 cups sugar
-80 gr. melted butter or margarine
-75 gr. raisins
-1 PC. egg
-1 packet of vanilla sugar
-0.5 teaspoon of soda (quench with vinegar)
-a pinch of salt
Preparation:
Scald the raisins with boiling water, drain the water, dry the raisins and mix with a pinch of flour.
Lightly beat the egg with a mixer with salt, sugar and vanilla sugar, pour in kefir, butter, add semolina, raisins and soda, stir everything well.
Let the mixture “swell” for 15-20 minutes while the oven heats up.
Turn on the oven at 200 degrees, grease the mold (I took a disposable one measuring 22 cm) with butter and sprinkle with semolina.
The mixture stood and became thick.
Transfer to the pan and smooth the top.
Bake for 45-50 minutes until the pie thickens and becomes golden brown.
Cool the finished manna a little in the mold, then carefully transfer it to a dish. If desired, you can glaze the top with slightly warmed jam.

3. Grease the mold with oil.
4. Add the flour last.

3.Lemon manna
▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬
All we need:
1 cup dry semolina;
- 1 glass of kefir;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 large lemon;
- A pinch of salt;
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar;
- 1 tbsp. spoon of baking powder for dough;
- 2 tablespoons of flour;
- Butter or margarine for greasing the mold;
- Powdered sugar for dusting.
Preparation:
Mix semolina with kefir and leave for half an hour to swell.
After some time, we will begin further preparation. In a separate bowl, grind the eggs with sugar, salt, and vanilla sugar.
Grate the lemon on a coarse grater along with the zest.
Now let's mix everything. The dough turns out watery, so add a couple of spoons of flour and one spoon of baking powder for the dough. I tried making it with soda, I didn’t like it, it’s better to buy baking powder or make it yourself.
Line a pie pan with parchment paper, grease with butter, and sprinkle with breadcrumbs. Simply grease the silicone mold with melted butter or creamy margarine. Pour the dough into the pie pan.
Place in a preheated oven. The temperature in the oven is no more than 200 degrees. The top of the manna is always paler than the bottom, so don’t be fooled by the unbrowned top; after 15-20 minutes, check with a match or toothpick for readiness; if the match is dry, remove it. Place the finished pie on a plate and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
Oh, it's a pity I can't take a picture of the scent! Smells of vanilla, lemon and coffee. The neighbors are nervously smoking on the site, my family is already rattling their cups. That's it, I went to drink coffee.
Bon appetit!

Mix everything very well and set aside for 30 minutes for the semolina to swell... (less is possible)
While the semolina is swelling, turn on the oven to heat up.
The cherries were sprinkled with sugar and mixed. We took out the mold, poured 1/3 of the cherries into the bottom
then the dough, and then the remaining cherry...
The oven is already preheated to 180 degrees... place the pan in the oven for 1 hour

Enjoy your tea!
Everyone knows what manna is. This pie doesn't really need advertising. And every housewife has her own favorite recipe, and sometimes even more than one. After all, dessert can be prepared with kefir, sour cream and milk.
Like all dishes that are very loved and often prepared, it has not remained unchanged. There is a classic method of preparation, and there are also many modified options and variations. As a rule, they maintain the basic proportions, but in addition some additional ingredients are added that change the taste of the dish.
It must be said that the pie turns out to be quite high in calories. So, if it is prepared with kefir, it contains 249 kcal per 100 g. And there are recipes in which flour is not added. Due to this, the calorie content of the dish is slightly reduced. And if you reduce the number of eggs, or cook without them at all, then it can be reduced more significantly.
Today I propose to prepare options with different ingredients and tastes. Among them there will be very simple ones, as well as more complex recipes, very original and not often found.
Anyone who loves baking probably knows this recipe by heart. As far as I remember, I used it to bake my very first baked goods, when I was still in the 5th or 6th grade.
And needless to say, the pie turned out great the first time. And this stimulates further culinary experiments.
We will need:
- kefir – 1 glass
- flour – 1 cup
- semolina – 1 glass
- sugar – 1 glass
- eggs – 2 pcs.
- salt - a pinch
- baking soda or baking powder (0.5 teaspoon or 1 teaspoon, respectively)
- butter – for greasing the mold – 15 g
You can add a pinch of vanillin or a bag of vanilla sugar.
That is, remember it is elementary - one glass of all the main ingredients and 2 eggs. In this case, the size of the glass can be of any volume. The only important thing is that all ingredients will be measured in only one.
Preparation:
It is advisable to remove kefir and eggs from the refrigerator in advance so that they warm up at room temperature. With such products the dough will rise better.
1. Break two eggs into the prepared bowl. Add sugar to them. If you want your baked goods to have a vanilla taste, you can add vanilla or vanilla sugar.
2. Mix first with a spoon so that the sugar does not fly in different directions. And then beat with a mixer until the mass turns white and all the sugar has dissolved. Or you can beat it with a whisk.
Now we are mixing it with a mixer. And before they didn’t even know such a word. That's why they beat it with a whisk. And even if it didn’t turn out white, they tried to break the sugar until the crystals dissolved.
3. Add kefir. If you have prepared soda, then quench it with vinegar, pour a few drops into a spoon with it, and add to the kefir mass. Stir the mixture. And you can immediately see small bubbles appear on the surface. The soda reacted with sour kefir.
It must be said that it is not necessary to use the freshest kefir. Even if it has been in the refrigerator for a week, you can safely use it for baking. And if there is a little less of it left than a glass, then the missing volume can be filled with sour cream or milk. And it will be even better if the milk has already fermented.
4. Add semolina. And stir again until the lumps disappear and the mixture is homogeneous. Let stand for 5 minutes so that the cereal swells a little.
5. Then add the sifted flour. And if you decide to use baking powder rather than soda, then you also need to sift it along with the flour. Gently stir the flour into the mixture. It will be difficult to mix with a spoon or a whisk. The mass turned out to be quite dense and viscous. And that’s great, that’s how it should be!
6. But in order for the dough to rise well during baking, it is advisable to give it the opportunity to stand for a while. During this time, all the ingredients will disperse better and reveal their full potential.
Sometimes there is no time to wait. And this pie is considered to be made in a hurry. That’s why sometimes you mix everything at once, without much ceremony, and straight into the oven. And even in such spartan conditions, he always succeeds.
But if you have time, then let the dough sit, the cake will turn out more fluffy and crumbly.
I usually leave the dough for 30 minutes. During this time, the cereal will disperse, and the flour will become more sticky, viscous, and therefore homogeneous.
7. While the dough is resting, prepare the mold. As a rule, I bake these pies in a silicone mold. It does not stick and rises perfectly. And for me it is also important that it comes out of this form without any problems. It just simply “jumps” out of it.
But still, to be sure, it is better to grease the mold with butter. Firstly, the pie will probably be easy to take out after cooking, and secondly, it will acquire the pleasant aroma of so-called home-baked goods.
8. You should also preheat the oven to 180 degrees in advance. And now there are ovens that are not preheated. So look at what you have. Typically, the oven should be preheated for about 15 minutes, setting the temperature to 180 degrees.
9. When the dough has settled, pour it into a greased pan and put it in the oven to bake. Baking time is usually 35 - 40 minutes, depending on how the particular oven bakes. If you already know for sure about all the features of your stove, then you can set a timer for this time and go about your business.
If you are just getting acquainted with the oven, then it is better to observe the process. Although it is not recommended to open it for 20 minutes.
During this time, the dough gains strength and rises to make our baked goods fluffy and airy. Below is a video in which you can see in fast motion how the cake grows and browns.
10. The finished pie should have a beautiful golden brown crust. Do not overcook it, otherwise the crust will be tough and the dessert will lose some of its merits.
You can check if it is ready by piercing it in the middle with a toothpick. Fully baked dough will not leave a single mark on it. And this will be a signal that it’s time to take out the baked goods.
11. Take it out, let it stand in the mold for about 5 minutes. Firstly, both the mold and the baking will cool slightly, and secondly, the cake will move away from the walls.
Then it will be possible to get it easily. To do this, you can cover it with a cutting board and turn the pan over. When the manna remains “upside down” on the board, place a large flat plate on top and turn it over again.
In the future, serve it in it, cutting it into pieces.
You can eat the pie both hot and cold. Wash it down with tea, milk, and coffee - whichever you prefer.
You can make any cakes on this basis. To do this, the cake is cut into two parts lengthwise, and each of them is coated with prepared cream. Decorate to your liking. A very convenient baking option for those who are just taking their first steps. And also when there are guests on the doorstep, or you just want to please your loved ones with something over evening tea.
Lush crumbly manna without flour, cooked in the oven
We already started talking about calories today. So this recipe is exactly where we will try to reduce them. To put it simply, we will prepare a pie without flour. Interesting?! And I was very interested in what would happen when I cooked this way for the first time. There was no certainty about the result, and there were continuous doubts.
We will need:
- kefir – 1.5 cups
- semolina – 2 cups
- sugar – 1 glass
- egg – 3 pcs
- baking powder for dough – 1 sachet 18 g
- lemon zest – 1 teaspoon without a slide
- salt - a pinch
- butter - for greasing the pan
I will bake in a muffin tin with a diameter of 24 cm.
For decoration I used ready-made vanilla frosting and chopped nuts. But this is optional.
Preparation:
As you can see, the proportions of the previous recipe are practically preserved. We remember what they are - 4 glasses and 2 eggs. There are 4.5 cups and 3 eggs. And there is an explanation for this. Semolina swells more than flour, so add an extra half glass of kefir and 1 egg. If you add less, the dough will not be as liquid as desired, and it will be more difficult for the cake to rise.
That is, everything is easily explained. And so, let's start cooking.
1. Break the eggs into a bowl that is convenient for using as a mixer. If you don’t have such an assistant, you can use a whisk. In this case, it will take a little more time to knead, but the result will be the same.
2. Add sugar and a pinch of salt and mix the mixture using a mixer. Beat until all the sugar crystals have dissolved and the mixture turns white.
3. Add kefir. I took it out of the refrigerator in advance, just like the eggs. In this state, kneading will be faster and easier, and the finished dough will be more airy, which will ultimately affect the quality of baking.
Continue kneading using a mixer or whisk.
4. Add lemon zest. I already have it ready-made, and I just pour it into the mass. But it doesn’t always happen, and in this case you just need to grate the skin of a clean lemon on a fine grater. Just rub one yellow part, the white part is bitter and not suitable for desserts.
Instead of lemon zest, you can use orange zest or vanilla sugar. In this case, you can add a whole bag of sugar. Or vanillin on the tip of a knife. Any flavoring aromatic additive will be in place.
5. Also add baking powder for the dough. And in this case, one teaspoon, as usual, is not enough. Add the whole bag at once. Semolina is heavier than flour, and baking powder will give it the strength to rise. Add that too.
Continue whisking the mixture until it becomes homogeneous. There should be no lumps left in it, and many small bubbles will appear on the surface. The dough is alive, and that's good. All processes will continue and the baked goods will rise perfectly.
6. And to do this, let’s leave it to infuse for 30 minutes. During this time, the cereal will swell and will not be hard in the finished baked goods.
7. You can bake in any form convenient for baking. This can be an ordinary silicone mold, but previously they were simply baked in a frying pan.
I decided to use a springform pan that has a special insert for baking cupcakes. Its size is 24 cm in diameter.
The mold must be generously greased with butter.
8. Cut a piece of parchment paper and line it on a baking sheet. If the mixture leaks out, it will not stain it. Place the greased mold on a sheet of paper.
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
9. Pour the dough into the mold in an even layer and place in the oven to bake for 35 minutes. During baking, do not open the oven door for at least 20 - 25 minutes.
During this time, the dough rises, and if the door is opened, it will fall. In this case, the pie will turn out low and hard.
10. When 35 minutes have passed, open the oven door, take out the cake and pierce it right in the middle with a toothpick. It should go in easily and come out just as easily. At the same time, there should be no dough residue left on it. If the dough catches on the toothpick, let it sit for another 5 minutes.
Also, the surface of the pie should not be overcooked. It has a pleasant ruddy appearance that pleases the eye.
11. Let the cake stand for 5 minutes directly in the pan. Then disconnect its clamp and remove the form. Transfer the pie to a plate.
In principle, in this form you can eat it immediately, without even waiting for it to cool down. But today I’m preparing it for you, dear readers. That's why I wanted to decorate it. At least in the simplest way.
12. I had two bags of ready-made vanilla frosting and also walnuts. I crushed about a handful of nuts with a rolling pin, and mixed the glaze with milk.
And when the cake cooled slightly, I poured all the prepared glaze onto its surface. And sprinkled nuts on top.
Now you can taste the manna. It is still slightly warm, and that makes it even tastier. We cut it into pieces and enjoy the taste. I'll try to describe how it turned out.
Firstly, it rose perfectly and has many holes, or air sinuses, inside. Secondly, thanks to these sinuses, the sugar from the glaze penetrated to the very bottom, and thanks to this, the cake turned out to be simply incredibly juicy. It was as if it had been soaked in some kind of jam or syrup.
And so, we got a fluffy, airy, juicy, crumbly dessert according to this recipe. I highly recommend making one for you too. He's great! Cook it at least once, and then you will cook it always. I can’t say “only his”, because all the recipes that I am sharing with you today are also simply incredibly delicious!
Delicious airy semolina pie with blueberries
And according to that recipe, I decided to make manna with blueberries. But this is not dogma. You can cook with any berry and any fruit. It turns out very tasty to cook it this way with apples and cinnamon. You can replicate this by adding chopped apples instead of blueberries. You'll get a new taste and a new dessert!
There is only one recipe, and each time adding a new fruit or berry ingredient, you will get new delicious baked goods!
We will need:
- kefir – 1 glass
- semolina – 1 glass
- flour – 1 cup
- sugar – 1 glass
- egg – 2 pcs
- baking powder – 1 heaped teaspoon
- salt - a pinch
- any frozen or fresh berries (I used blueberries) - 1 cup
- butter - for greasing
Preparation:
This recipe is very similar to the first one. Therefore, in order not to delay your time with a detailed description, I will touch on only the main points in this chapter. And if you decide to cook according to it, then see all the nuances in the first recipe.
1. Break the eggs into a bowl. Add sugar and salt and mix everything using a whisk or mixer. It is desirable that the sugar dissolves completely and the mass becomes lighter.
2. Add kefir, stir. Then add baking powder. Beat with a mixer until bubbles appear.
3. It's time to add semolina. Pour it into the mixture, stir and let stand for 5 minutes.
4. Then sift the flour directly into the mixing bowl. This must be done to saturate it with oxygen and to further raise the dough.
Stir again until the lumps disappear. Leave to infuse for 30 minutes.
5. While the dough is infusing, prepare the mold, namely, grease it with butter. You can also put the oven on to warm up. We will need a temperature of 180 degrees.
6. After 30 minutes, stir the thick mixture again with a spoon and add the berries. In summer it can be any fresh berries or fruits. But it's winter now and I have frozen blueberries. So we will use it as an additive.
I don’t defrost it on purpose so as not to color the dough. If the berry melts, the dough will turn a not very pleasant purple color. But I want it to have a familiar look. That's why I add berries straight from the freezer. Then mix the dough and immediately pour into the mold.
7. And without further delay, put it in a preheated oven. Within 20 minutes the dough will have time to rise without having time to color. And only by that time the berries will finally warm up, but there will be nowhere for them to burst. Therefore, they will remain intact, and as if they had just been brought from the forest.
During the remaining 15 minutes of baking, they will warm up and the cake will have a general flavor component. That is, the total baking time will be 35 minutes. Well maybe 40.
8. After this time, take out the cake and test its readiness with a toothpick, piercing it in the thickest place, that is, in the center. If we take out a toothpick and there is no batter left on it, then our pie is ready. It can be taken out completely.
9. Let it stand for 5 - 7 minutes. Then turn it over onto a cutting board, and then turn it over again onto a plate.
You can decorate it to your liking, or you can serve it just like that. In my opinion, he is already handsome.
The cut shows that the dough is not colored, it is light and eye-catching. The berries burst, but only slightly. This means they are fully warmed up and ready to be tasted. Along with the pie, of course.
10. Cut the dessert into pieces. We see that it has risen well and looks lush. The taste turns out to be very pleasant, slightly crumbly, with a pleasant light sourness.
I don’t want to boast, because it’s immodest, but the pie turned out very tasty! The thing is that I really love . And I have them on my blog (two links, because there are two different recipes). So I decided to combine my two favorite methods.
And the result turned out just great! I hope that you too will be able to appreciate it.
An original recipe for incredibly fluffy “wet” manna
And this recipe will most likely not leave anyone indifferent. And it’s possible that you haven’t even heard of this. This is a recipe for “wet” manna. Ask why “wet”? Yes, because there is a secret in the recipe.
And I will share it today. And I will not only write how to cook according to it, but I will also show how to do it in a video that was filmed specifically during the preparation of this article.
We will need:
- kefir – 1 glass
- cream – 1 glass
- semolina – 1 glass
- flour – 1 cup
- sugar – 1 glass
- egg – 2 pcs
- butter – 50 g
- vanilla sugar – 0.5 – 1 sachet
- baking powder for dough – 1 teaspoon
- salt – 0.5 teaspoon
For decoration we will need 3 - 4 tablespoons of powdered sugar.
Preparation:
1. Sift flour into a bowl. Add salt and baking powder to it. Both can also be sifted if desired. Add the prepared cereal here and mix. That is, in one bowl we mixed all the bulk ingredients.
2. Pour kefir here. It is better to take it out of the refrigerator in advance so that it is not very cold. Room temperature will be ideal for it. Set the resulting mixture aside and proceed to the next stage of preparation.
Mix the mass. It will turn out thick and viscous, with a rather uneven structure. But for now we’ll leave it as it is.
3. Break the eggs into a separate bowl. It is also better to take them out of the refrigerator in advance.
Add regular and vanilla sugar to them. Instead of vanilla sugar, you can simply add a pinch of vanillin. In this case, the finished pie will be less sweet.
Although, if you have a sweet tooth, then you can add a whole bag. The baked goods will be sweeter and with a stronger aroma.
4. To prevent sugar from scattering all over the table, first mix the mass with a spoon or spatula, and then connect the mixer or whisk to work. We need a homogeneous sweet egg mixture that has turned white from beating and all the sugar crystals have dissolved in it.
5. Add it to the mixture, which has been set aside for a while.
Mix both masses with a mixer until you obtain a homogeneous, smooth and fairly fluffy mixture without lumps.
6. Add melted butter and stir again. This time until it is completely beaten into the mixture, there should be no oily circles left.
Reserve about a teaspoon of oil to grease the pan.
7. The resulting test must be given time to brew. It will be enough for him to stand for 15 - 20 minutes. During this time, the cereal will swell, and the same will happen with the flour. The dough will become more homogeneous and flexible and bake better.
8. Grease the mold with the reserved butter and pour the dough into it.
9. Place the pan in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake until done. Depending on the properties of the oven, this will take approximately 40 minutes. It took me exactly that long.
After this time, take out the cake and check it with a toothpick to see if it is ready. If you pierce it in the center and the toothpick remains dry, then it’s time to finally take it out.
10. But we still have cream left, and we haven’t forgotten about it. Their turn has come. They need to be poured directly on top of the golden brown crust of the pie. But as we see, the liquid is not retained. It is immediately absorbed and soon not a single drop remains on the surface.
11. After this “alchemical” procedure, let the cake stand and rest for 10 minutes right in the mold. Then we turn it over onto a wooden board.
Remove the pan and turn it over onto a large flat plate and let it cool a little more.
As you can see in the photo, the cake turned out very fluffy and beautiful. I already want to try it as soon as possible.
12. But I also wanted to decorate it so that I could serve it for evening tea in all its glory. And as a decoration I prepared powdered sugar. So I just sprinkle it on a slightly cooled surface and go put the kettle on. It's time to brew some tea and invite your family for an evening tea party.
This is how our dessert turned out in cross section. As you can see, it is very tall, airy and curvy. We always dream of getting all these qualities in any baked goods. And this recipe did not let us down.
Let's try! The taste of the dessert is delicate, slightly velvety and creamy. And inside the dough itself is slightly moist, that is, juicy. The cream gave him such an amazing effect. It would seem such a simple manipulation, but what an interesting flavor combination it turned out to be.
I really wanted to decorate it, so I sprinkled it with powdered sugar. And for me it turned out a little sweeter than I would like. I don't really like sweets. Therefore, if you have a sweet tooth, you can sprinkle it. And if not, then come up with another decoration, or don’t decorate at all.
Video on how to make a lush and delicious homemade pie
And here is the promised video. Here the entire cooking process is not only told, but also shown. Thanks to this, it will be very easy to cook according to it, even for someone who has never prepared such baking before, or anything at all.
Let me remind you that this pie is called “Wet”. And it got such an interesting name because after it is baked it is filled with cream. By the way, you can fill it not only with them. Milk is also excellent for these purposes. At the same time, its fat content is much lower than that of cream. This means you can remove extra calories.
Well, how do you like the recipe?! Did you like it? He's really good. And making a pie using it is quite easy and simple. And I think that it will be useful to every housewife. And if you liked it, then like and subscribe to our channel. While he is still very young, this recipe is only the fourth. But we promise that there will be a lot of interesting and tasty things on it.
Crumbly kefir pie with apples, without eggs and flour
And according to this recipe you can make a pie without eggs and without flour. Yes Yes exactly. Of course, it won’t turn out as fluffy and airy as the previous ones, but its taste will be simply magnificent. But it will be very crumbly and juicy.
We will need:
- kefir – 500 ml
- semolina – 2 cups (400 g)
- sugar – 160 g (200 g glass)
- vanilla sugar – 25 g (1 sachet)
- butter – 100 g
- baking powder for dough – 1 teaspoon (can be heaped)
- salt - a pinch
- apples – 2 pcs.
- powdered sugar – 2 tbsp. spoons (for sprinkling)
Preparation:
1. Pour kefir into a bowl convenient for kneading dough. You can take it with any fat content. I didn't have enough kefir today, so I added about half a glass of sour cream. So that in total I get two 250 gram glasses.
Keep this in mind, you can add a little fermented milk, drinking yogurt, sour cream, and even milk. But in the latter case, you will need to add a little semolina to achieve the desired dough consistency.
2. Pour the cereal into a bowl. It can be measured using glasses of the same volume as kefir was measured. Mix the mixture until smooth. You can simply stir with a spoon.
We don't have eggs, so we don't need to beat anything. You can just use a spoon.
Leave the mixture to sit for 30 minutes. The cereal should swell. In this case, it will not be felt, and it will be easier for the dough to rise.
3. After 30 minutes, add salt, vanilla and sugar, as well as baking powder. Please note that we take not a 250 gram glass of sugar, but a 200 gram glass. We also use vanilla sugar, and its weight is 25 grams. Therefore, if you have a 250 ml measuring cup, then first pour vanilla sugar into it, and then add regular sugar. It will turn out complete.
4. Melt the butter. This can be done in a water bath. It is not recommended to do this in the microwave. Although sometimes, of course, you use it.
It is better to use oil with 82.5% fat content. This is a good quality product and healthier than 72% which uses trans fats.
5. Add oil to the resulting mixture and stir until color and consistency are uniform. Leave a little oil to grease the pan.
6. Grease the mold and pour the resulting mixture into it.
7. Peel the apples, remove the core and cut into slices. Place them on the surface in any order. There is a method in which only part of the dough is poured into the mold at first. Then the apples are laid out and filled with the remaining dough.
But I wanted to make the pie beautiful, so I chose the first option.
8. My oven is already preheated to 180 degrees. Place the pan in it and bake for 35 - 40 minutes until the top of the pie is golden brown and the dough inside is cooked through. You can check readiness with a toothpick.
9. Take out the baked goods and let them stand for a while right in the pan. 5 - 7 minutes will be enough. Then take out the pie and place it on a plate. Sprinkle with powdered sugar. You can eat it straight hot, or cooled down if necessary.
In our country, such manna is eaten in 10 minutes, while the tea in the glass has not completely cooled down.
And this happens every time I cook it. The last time I cooked it was today. So the recipe is piping hot. The pie is no longer there, but its aroma is still preserved in the house. By the way, its aroma is very pleasant. Only homemade baked goods with apples can smell like this.
The taste of the pie is very delicate, creamy, with a slight sourness. But it depends on the type of apple. I baked it with small-sized Semerenko apples. The apples themselves are sweet and sour and very crumbly.
The pie turned out just as crumbly. It is very difficult to describe this or that taste in words. Therefore, I advise you to prepare such manna, and be sure to try it. I think that this recipe will not leave you indifferent.
Airy manna with curd filling in a slow cooker
Everyone's favorite homemade pie can also be prepared with curd filling. Many people love this product and enjoy baking numerous delicious pastries with it. And we have baked it more than once, for example. And this recipe can easily be considered one of them.
For a change, I’ll tell you how you can prepare such a dessert in a slow cooker. But it can also be cooked in the oven. The principles of preparation are fully described in previous recipes. The composition of the ingredients and the sequence of actions can be found here.
We will need:
- semolina – 2 cups (250 ml) 400 g
- kefir – 1 glass
- sugar – 1 glass
- flour – 50 g
- eggs – 3 pcs.
- butter – 50 g
- baking powder for dough – 1 heaped teaspoon (10 g)
- salt - a pinch
- vanillin on the tip of a knife
You can use vanilla sugar instead of vanillin. In this case, pour it into the glass first, and then add the regular one. The total volume should be 250 ml, that is, a glass.
For the curd filling:
- cottage cheese – 250 gr
- egg – 2 pcs
- sugar – 80 gr
Preparation:
1. We will knead the dough in a deep bowl that is convenient for this purpose. Break eggs into it.
2. Add granulated sugar. Beat with a mixer. The mass should slightly increase in volume, turn white, and all sugar crystals should dissolve. To do this, the mass must be beaten for at least 3 minutes.
3. Pour in kefir and mix again. Then add soft butter. In order for it to become soft, it must be removed from the refrigerator in advance. Mix again with a mixer until smooth.
4. Add flour, baking powder and flour sifted through a sieve. Don’t be lazy and be sure to sift it. This will help the cake rise better.
Mix the mixture thoroughly with a mixer and let stand for 20 minutes so that all the ingredients disperse and the semolina swells.
5. Prepare the filling. To do this, place all the ingredients intended for it in a separate bowl and puree until smooth using an immersion blender.
6. Grease the multicooker bowl with butter. Cut a circle of baking paper to fit the bottom and place it on the bottom. Place half of the dough into the bowl. After standing, it became quite thick, which is good, it means the filling will remain in the middle.
7. Pour out all the filling at once. And then lay out the remaining dough. It’s good if the filling is completely covered.
8. When baking in the “Redmond” multicooker, set the “Multicook” mode. And bake at 125 degrees for 1 hour. If you have a multicooker of another brand, then bake in it according to the instructions.
9. Take out the finished manna by turning the multicooker bowl over. Let cool slightly. Then place on a plate and serve.
If desired, you can sprinkle powdered sugar on top.
Needless to say, even such a simple-looking pie is so tasty that it is simply eaten in one sitting. It turns out to be quite tall and fluffy, as well as juicy and crumbly. It is very pleasant to eat, as all the ingredients are combined into one whole. In general, this dessert is well worth paying attention to and preparing for your family.
If you cook this recipe in the oven, the baking time will be 30 - 40 minutes, at a temperature of 180 degrees.
This is such a delicious and beautiful selection that we have for you today. We cooked all the pies with semolina and kefir. And none of them let us down. Even those that we prepared without flour or eggs at all.
In principle, these are almost all the variations of manna known to me. You can, of course, add certain additional ingredients to the dough and thereby obtain other flavors. But all the most basic recipes are given here. That is, based on them, you can simply fantasize.
I hope that the recipes will be useful for you, and most importantly, necessary. And that you will definitely prepare delicious desserts using them. It is important that all the options are proven, and if you follow the recipe step by step, then you will certainly succeed!
Bon appetit!
I often want to prepare baked goods for tea without standing at the stove for a long time. Mannik is exactly the kind of pie that can be described with the words “5 minutes and it’s done.” It’s surprising that such a simple dish is not popular in all families. In some it is prepared consistently every month, while in others they have no idea about its existence. The consistency is a cross between a pie and a casserole.

Countless. Starting from increasing the number of eggs, various additives and ending with various baking methods (in the oven, in a slow cooker).
In addition to eggs and flour, liquid is considered an essential ingredient in a pie. The original recipe calls for milk. If intolerant, it can be replaced with any fermented milk product or water.
The next ingredient that, by definition, should be in baking for tea is sugar. You can add white or cane sugar (healthier).
The next ingredient follows from the name - semolina. And let's move on to the sweetest variable component. In addition to sugar, you can add honey, jam, condensed milk, cocoa, berries, fruits, dried fruits, even pumpkin. Supplements are limited only by your imagination. You can either decorate a ready-made pie with them or add them to the dough. Sprinkling with coconut flakes, cream, cream, and ground nuts is also suitable for decoration. Let us remind you that decoration is optional. The pie itself cooks very quickly.
When searching for the “ideal” semolina recipe, I came across different interpretations: to soak or not to soak semolina before use? The Soviets were divided into 2 “camps”: for and against. I didn’t want to spend extra time preparing the cereal. In the end, I tried making the pie both ways. What conclusion did I draw for myself: it’s worth soaking. This is an optional item. Its advantage is this: you get a real sponge cake. The aroma and taste are identical. Without soaking, the cake rises less and the grain flavor is present. Mannik is more like a casserole than a pie.
Advice: Soak the semolina for 2 hours, the cake will get a richer taste.
How is soaking done?: semolina is poured with liquid (milk or water), the amount is indicated in the recipe. Add sugar. Knead. Cover with a towel and place in a warm place for 2 hours. Can be placed on a sunny windowsill or next to a hot stove or radiator.
Just as most of us know the recipe for pancakes by heart, so after the first preparation, manna will be prepared from memory. Standard recipe: 1 tbsp. semolina, 1 tbsp. sugar, 1 tbsp. liquid, 2 eggs. Additionally add flour, butter, soda and vanillin. The required amount can be determined by eye.
Advice: To make the manna fluffy, before adding it to the dough, beat them with sugar into a thick foam.
The next discrepancy when searching for a recipe was: add kefir or milk? Using kefir, the pie will become more fluffy. If there is no flour in the recipe, you should definitely add kefir. Milk will not allow the dough to rise. If you want to achieve a taste similar to baked goods, choose milk.
Advice: To make the manna fluffy, add kefir; to make the taste similar to baked goods, add milk.
Separately, it is worth mentioning the addition of pumpkin. It will not only add sweetness to the manna, but will also give it its bright orange color. With this addition, exclude eggs from the composition. The finished pie should be well soaked in cream, syrup or liquid chocolate. Otherwise, you will end up with a too dry sponge cake.
Advice: add color to manna, replace eggs with pumpkin.
So, we have looked at the basic rules for preparing manna, and what you should pay attention to so that the pie lives up to your aspirations. Let's move on to the actual preparation.
To make a pie without butter we will need:
- 1 tbsp. kefir or 200 ml sour cream;
- 1 tbsp. semolina;
- 1 tbsp. granulated sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 tbsp flour;
- 50ml sunflower oil;
- Vanillin on the tip of a knife;
- 1 tsp soda
Step-by-step photo recipe for “Mannik” pie
Mannik in a slow cooker is quite easy to prepare. As you can see from the ingredients, they are easy to find in every kitchen.
We are carrying out preparatory work. The longest part of the entire recipe is soaking the semolina. Mix it with sugar and kefir. Leave it on 2h in a warm place. Can be placed in the sun on a windowsill. This item, as mentioned above, is optional. If you don't have enough time, immediately knead the dough.

Advice: if you want a taste similar to a biscuit, replace kefir with sour cream.
Advice: Remove the kefir from the refrigerator in advance so that it reaches room temperature. The pie will be more fluffy.
After time, add flour, eggs and vanillin. Mix. Be sure to sift before adding flour. This will make the cake more fluffy and airy.
![](https://i0.wp.com/edabez.ru/wp-content/uploads/2016/08/3-result-4.jpg)
Advice: First break the eggs into a separate container. 1 spoiled egg will result in the loss of the entire dough.
Add vegetable oil. Mix. Add soda. Mix.
Delicious manna with kefir is not only prepared quickly, but also does not require serious preparation. At the same time, do not forget that any special ingredients are not required to prepare this pie. There will be enough products that a good housewife usually has in her home. Well, the best way to cook it is with raisins, which makes it even sweeter. Although you can add any other filling. Or cook it without filling at all, whichever you prefer.
We will need:
- 1 cup semolina
- 1 glass of kefir
- 0.5 cups sugar
- 80 g melted butter or margarine
- 75 g raisins
- 1 PC. egg
- 1 packet vanilla sugar
- 0.5 teaspoon of soda (quench with vinegar)
- a pinch of salt

Lemon manna
All we need:
- 1 cup dry semolina;
- 1 glass of kefir;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 2 eggs;
- 1 large lemon;
- a pinch of salt;
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar;
- 1 tbsp. spoon of baking powder for dough;
- 2 tablespoons flour;
- butter or margarine for greasing the pan;
Let's mix everything. The manna dough turns out to be runny, so add a couple of spoons of flour and one spoon of baking powder for the dough.
Delicious manna with cherries
Ingredients:

- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 1 tbsp. kefir;
- 2 eggs;
- 200 g frozen cherries;
- 4 tbsp. spoons of flour;
- 1 teaspoon baking powder;
- 2 teaspoons vanilla sugar.
Preparation:
Mix kefir with eggs and add semolina, sugar, flour, vanillin and baking powder.
Mix everything very well and set aside for 30 minutes for the semolina to swell. (less possible)
While the semolina is swelling, turn on the oven to heat up.
The cherries were sprinkled with sugar and mixed. We took out the mold, poured 1/3 of the cherries into the bottom
then the dough, and then the remaining cherry...
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees. Place the pan in the oven for 1 hour.

- Pour the dough into a greased pan, place in an oven preheated to 180 degrees and bake for about 40-50 minutes.
To check if the manna is ready, pierce it with a toothpick... if the match is dry, then the manna is ready.

Lush manna with sour cream
We will need:
- 2 eggs;
- 2 cups sugar;
- 2 cups semolina;
- 2 cups of sour cream (I take a 400g jar of 15% sour cream);
- you can replace sour cream with 3.2% kefir, but it tastes better with sour cream;
- 0.5 tsp soda;
- vanillin.
Preparation:
Mix semolina with sour cream and leave for 1 hour so that the semolina “swells”.
To this mass add well-beaten eggs with sugar, soda (slaked), vanillin.
Beat everything well with a mixer.
I add raisins and candied fruits, you can add nuts or orange peels, whatever you like.
Pour the mass (it will be liquid) into a mold greased with vegetable oil and bake at 170 degrees for 1 hour or a little less.

How to cook quick manna with kefir:
Pour kefir over the semolina and let it swell while we work on the other ingredients.
Mix the eggs with sugar and beat lightly so that the sugar dissolves faster.
Add melted butter and eggs to the semolina with kefir and stir well.
Grease the mold with oil and pour the resulting dough into it. Place in a preheated oven to bake at 200 degrees for about 30 minutes.
Very tender and fragrant manna without eggs
It always turns out tall!
Ingredients:
- 2 glasses of kefir;
- 1.5 cups semolina;
- 1 cup of sugar;
- 1 cup flour;
- 100 grams of butter;
- 1 tsp soda;
- a pinch of salt;
- vanilla sugar.
Preparation:
Melt the butter, cool slightly and mix with semolina, sugar, salt and kefir. We forget about this dough preparation for about 40 minutes so that the semolina has time to swell well.
Then add flour, soda and vanilla sugar. Mix everything.
Place in a mold and bake at 180 degrees until golden brown!
I usually cut the finished manna into two layers and soak it in strawberry jam. You can layer it with your favorite cream!

The recipe is suitable for cooking in a slow cooker; set the Baking mode for 1 hour.
Today I invite you to try a very tasty semolina pie for dessert - this is mannik. Delicate, crumbly, with a light vanilla aroma and a crispy crust. It is prepared simply, from readily available and very inexpensive ingredients. This recipe is classic and uses only basic ingredients. Their proportions should not be changed, since the recipe has been proven over the years and you can only ruin everything. But you can experiment with additional ingredients as you wish. For example, you can add dried fruits, raisins and nuts, or you can make chocolate manna with cocoa. What I also like about this recipe is that manna can be given to young children (from 2 years old). I won’t say that the product turns out to be very dietary, but it also doesn’t contain anything harmful. If you are preparing manna for children, you can remove the baking powder from the ingredients and halve the amount of butter - these products are not very healthy. The manna will, of course, not be as fluffy, but for kids it’s just what you need. And you can serve a simple classic manna with jam or fresh berries and fruits.
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp. kefir;
- 2 tbsp. semolina;
- 1 tbsp. Sahara;
- 150 g butter at room temperature;
- 3 eggs;
- 3 tsp baking powder for dough;
- a pinch of salt;
- 2 small pinches of vanillin.
Recipe for classic manna with kefir
1. Pour kefir into the dough bowl and add semolina. To begin with, it is better to use 1.5 cups. From my own experience, I noticed that semolina swells differently. For a glass of cereal from one manufacturer you need 1 glass of kefir, and from another you may need 1.5-2 glasses of kefir. Of course, the thickness of the kefir itself also plays a role here. Mix.
2. Leave for 5-10 minutes while we work on other ingredients. The semolina should absorb some of the liquid and our “porridge” will thicken. The step-by-step photo shows the mass as it should be: it is not liquid, but not dry either. If the porridge has thickened, but it mixes easily, that’s it, move on to the next step. If the mass turns out to be very thick, dry and dense, add a little more kefir.
3. Transfer the butter to another bowl and rub it with sugar using a fork. It is very important that the oil is at room temperature, this makes it much easier to work with.
I also want to say a little about butter. It is better to take oil that is not very fatty, about 72%, so that the manna does not turn out to be too fatty. And don’t be afraid if during the baking process you see a thin layer of oil “bubbling” on top. It will boil away, and a delicious and slightly crispy golden crust will remain on top of the manna.
4. Break eggs into a bowl with butter and sugar. Add 3 tsp. baking powder for dough, add 2 small pinches of vanillin.
5. Mix everything thoroughly with a fork.
6. Pour the egg-butter mixture into the semolina with kefir.
7. Mix with a whisk so that there are no lumps. Please note: the mass should be liquid, its consistency resembles biscuit dough.
8. Lightly grease the baking dish with vegetable oil. I use a springform pan with a diameter of 20 cm and a height of 6.5 cm. It is just perfect for the given amount of ingredients.
9. Pour the dough into the mold and place it in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for 35-45 minutes (depending on the height of the mold). The mannik rises just a little. Therefore, you don’t have to be especially afraid that he will run away from the form.
10. Take the finished manna out of the oven, let it cool a little, then remove it from the mold. Despite its delicate structure, manna springs out of shape remarkably well.
Classic manna with kefir is ready. Enjoy your tea! 🙂
