Obtaining root rights, installing custom recovery or firmware unofficial firmware may cause the KNOX VOID WARANTY status to be 0x1 or 1x1, which automatically removes the device from warranty. Method for resetting the counter to 0x0 this moment not available.
Installation instructions
- « Install" to install the file.
- Find and select the Update SuperSU archive, then confirm your decision by swiping from left to right.
- After installation is complete, reboot your phone by selecting " Reboot» > « System».

To restore EFS you will need the following:
- Copy the “efs.img” file to the root of the phone’s internal memory.
- In the Terminal Emulator, enter the following commands:
- dd if=/sdcard/efs.img of=/dev/block/mmcblk0p3
- Reboot the device.

ATTENTION!
If Samsung Kies is already installed, there is no need to install drivers. You just need to completely unload Kies from memory through the task manager, and then continue.
Download and unpack the archive with the program into a random folder.
It is important that the path to the folder does not contain Cyrillic. (For example “C:\S4Recovery\”).
Disable the option " Activation Lock» in the device security settings.
Run Odin PC as administrator.
Put your phone into download mode ( Download Mode).
To do this, you need to simultaneously hold down the Volume Down, Home and Power keys. Then wait until the device reboots and agree to the warning by pressing the Volume Up key.

6. Launch Odin using exe Odin3 v3.09.exe

8. Turn off your smartphone
9. Press and hold the home, power and volume down buttons until the loading screen appears.

On the computer in the Odin program, click on the “AP” button and select the CWM recovery installation file – “recovery-clockwork-6.0.3.7-serrano3gxx.tar.md5”, to start the firmware process, click the “Start” button. If Odin does not recognize your smartphone, install Kies. Along with it, the drivers necessary to connect the smartphone in Odin mode will be installed.
After recovery is installed, the smartphone will reboot.
12. Immediately after turning on the smartphone (vibration), go to recovery: hold down and do not release the “home” and volume up buttons. After loading the CWM recovery menu, release all buttons.
13. Select “install zip” -> “choose zip from extSdCard” -> select the file S4Mini_RootKit_v1.zip -> “YES – Install S4Mini_RootKit_v1.zip”, wait for the operation to complete.
14. Use the power button to return to the main CWM menu and select “reboot system now” to reboot.
If recovery offers “disable flash stock recovery”, agree.
Upon completion, Android will boot with available root.
