Names for children's playroom. How to name
The child was born. From the first seconds of life, he comes into direct contact with the outside world. The world is so wide and multifaceted that a child needs a guide who will guide him in time, advise him, and help him. The child's very first guide is his parents. But now the child is growing up and the mother can no longer sit at home with him, now she can work quietly, and her baby goes to kindergarten. From this moment on, the everyday bustle begins: mom and dad are torn between home, work and kindergarten. And, as a result, the whole family experiences a lack of time to communicate with the child. Where can I get this time, when will I have time to play or do something interesting with my child, if the mother is waiting for cleaning, laundry, and going to the grocery store? But everything is very simple, you just need to approach the solution to this problem correctly. Listen to the advice of teachers who will help you combine incompatible things and, most importantly, teach you to be “together with the children”, teach you to be closer to them.
The goal of this project is to become a link for those who are interested in board games and those who are just starting to get acquainted with this hobby.

Brief summary of the project
Teachers of additional education of the Municipal Educational Establishment of Preschool Children's Creativity House "Kirovsky", working in the structural division of the Center for Early Development "Filipok", during many years of observation of parents of preschool children, noticed a trend towards a decrease in parental competence. The pedagogical observation data were confirmed by the results of the survey. Awareness of the contradiction between the need for meaningful interaction between parents and children and the lack of experience of organizing such interaction among most parents led to the idea of creating a children’s-parent club “Family Toy Library” on the basis of the Filipok CRR.Targetproject -
During the implementation of the project, it is planned to develop Regulations on the public structure “Children and Parents Club”, accumulate a bank of educational games for the “Family Toy Library”, and develop methodological recommendations for parents. Thanks to the involvement of parents of preschool children attending the Filipok Children's Recreation Center in the activities of this club, parents (legal representatives) will be trained in techniques and forms of organizing meaningful playful leisure time for children. A variety of gaming activities initiated within the framework of the parent-child club will help consolidate, specify and expand preschoolers’ ideas about the world, enriching their experience of interaction with parents and teachers.
The project is low-budget, since the “piggy bank of educational games” is supposed to be filled at the expense of the community of families - club members. The project will be implemented in three stages over 1.5 years. In the future, it is planned to attract families of students from other associations of DDT “Kirovsky” to the parent-child club.
Relevance, pedagogical feasibility of the project
In the modern educational situation, when the new law “On Education in the Russian Federation” emphasizes the responsibility of parents for the education of their own children (Article 44 Law 273-FZ "On Education in the Russian Federation" 2014 ), educational institutions should more actively contribute to improving the pedagogical competence of parents (legal representatives). Child-parent associations of interests, family clubs and communities are designed to teach parents methods and techniques of meaningful interaction with children and create conditions for children to freely choose types of joint activities with their parents. In this situation, it is important for teachers to find forms of educational work that would combine the best achievements of pedagogy of joint activities and would correspond to the age and psychological characteristics of children.
The experience of numerous Russian family clubs shows thattoy library is the most optimal form that meets these conditions.
What is a family toy library? This is an opportunity to use games to show parents and children new ways to interact meaningfully. Even the simplest games develop the ability to act according to given rules, patiently wait for your turn, carefully count your points, and lose with dignity. And more complex games teach you to identify and name the characteristics of objects, take into account several properties at once, quickly compare images, and estimate quantity and shape by eye. Pedagogical games give many chances to be both a winner andlosers, and this is also an important experience. The child sees how another person reacts to a loss, adopts the successful strategies of other players, and learns to enjoy the successes of others.
What can parents get from such games? On the one hand, this is an opportunity to spend meaningful time with your children and, plunging into the game, “return to childhood.” On the other hand, it is pleasant company and a rewarding experience for many families. After all, games are interaction with children on equal terms, since in many games children grasp the idea faster than adults. And it is very important for parents to see that their child thinks well, has a good memory, attention and reaction! Parents need to see their children's successes in order to support them and help them form a correct idea of their abilities.
Thus, a family toy library under the guidance of competent teachers can bring joy and benefit to both children and parents.
Formulation of the problem. Place of the project in the educational work system of the institution
Within the structure of the institution of additional education for children, the Kirovsky Children's Creativity House, the Filipok Preschool Development Center has been successfully operating for decades. Depending on the requests of parents, educational programs are developed, including both subjects of the aesthetic cycle (art and applied activities, rhythm, music and games), and subjects that introduce children to the world around them, the basics of their native and English languages and basic mathematical knowledge. Parents who regularly bring their children to these classes attend a parent psychological lecture and occasionally participate in the forms offered by teachers, mainly holidays or excursions. According to the observations of the center’s teachers, many parents believe that their main responsibilities are caring for the health and material security of their children, and they limit their educational functions to bringing their children to the center’s classes. In April 2014, teachers of the center conducted a survey to find out what children do in their free time from classes at Filipka.
As a result of the analysis of the questionnaires, the following points were identified:
72% of children spend their free time in front of the TV or computer monitor watching cartoons;
31% of parents found it difficult to name more than two board games that can be played with their children.
The center's teachers were alarmed that 47% of parents prefer to use authoritarian methods in relationships with children, and 17% of parents surveyed do not know what educational games can fill their children's free time. At the same time, 86% of families expressed their willingness to participate in club forms of joint activities.
Thus, the identified problem, expressed in the form of a contradiction between the need for meaningful, equal interaction between parents and children and the lack of experience of organizing such interaction among the majority of parents, led to the idea of creating a children’s and parent’s club “Family Toy Library” on the basis of the Filipok CRR.As the basis for our project, we took the developments of the Moscow Family Club, which is led by Evgenia Kats and a group of like-minded people. We also took into account the positive experience of the family Internet club “Familyland”, the gaming club of Natalia Chistokletova (St. Petersburg), the family center “Kind Elephant” (Nizhny Novgorod), the family game library “Colorful Childhood” (Syktyvkar), and the Tomsk Hobby Center.
The peculiarity of our project is that the social structureparent-child club is created as part of an educational institution for additional education of children. The novelty of the project lies in the special rules, according to which each family that brings an educational game to the Family Toy Library will have to fill out a family “Game Passport”, and the additional education teacher accompanying this family will have to write an annotation for the game (see Appendix No...). In this way, the “toy library” will be replenished; on its basis, the center’s teachers will develop methodological recommendations for the use of various types of games in accordance with the age, psychological and individual characteristics of children.
Project goal and objectives
Target creating conditions for the activities of a parent-child club as a platform for gaining experience in joint gaming and leisure activities of parents (legal representatives) and preschool children.
Organizational tasks:
Develop Regulations and create a public structure on the basis of MBOU DOD DDT "Kirovsky" - a children's and parent's club.
Organize a card index of annotated games and fill the “piggy bank” of educational games.
To involve in the systematic work of the “Family Toy Library” the majority of parents of preschool children attending the Filipok Children's Recreation Center.
Pedagogical tasks:
Train parents (legal representatives) in techniques and forms of organizing meaningful play time for children.
Through play activities, help consolidate, concretize and expand preschoolers’ ideas about the world.
To promote the creation of a positive attitude towards the joint activities of teachers, parents and children.
Implementation deadlines, stages
Main content of the project. Implementation mechanism
The project is designed for 1.5 years. Its implementation will take place in three stages.
Stage 1 – preparatory. January 2014 – May 2014 Questioning of parents, analysis of problems and contradictions. Search for information on a topic. Conceptual idea development, project design.
Stage 2 – the main one. June 2014 – May 2015 Opening of the Family Toy Library. Carrying out the main activities according to the project plan.
Stage 3 – final. June 2015 – August 2015 Final diagnostics, development of a long-term plan for the further work of the parent-child club.
Functions of project participants
Principles and rules of operation of the Family Club
Maximum efficiency and achievement of the expected results of the project will be ensured by compliance with the following principles:
Amplification principle is to help enrich the life activity of children and fill the main type of activity of preschoolers with a variety of educational games.
The principle of inclusion parents (legal representatives) means not only their active participation in conducting gaming activities, but also in making decisions on all issues of the life of the parent-child club.
The principle of mutual respect and equality of all club members
The estimated operating hours of the “Family Toy Library” are 1 – 2 times a week in the summer and 1 time a month during the school year, the schedule will be updated in accordance with parental capabilities.
Group occupancy – 3 – 5 families
Duration of classes – 30 minutes
The total duration of the game library is 1 hour
In terms of content and focus, all educational games offered by families to the toy library will be divided into four blocks: applied, verbal-logical, board and outdoor games.
With the help of applied block games, children and parents will be able to create creative products (engineering or design) with their own hands using scrap materials or elements of construction sets, mosaics, cubes, etc.
In the block of verbal and logic games, family teams can compete with each other in their ability to explain words, come up with words for a given syllable or letter, and in the ability to go from the general to the specific.
A block of board games will help children and adults show their dexterity, reaction speed, memory, strategic thinking, and communication skills.
The block of outdoor games includes round dances, games for acquaintance and communication, ball games, labyrinths and much more.

Resources
Qualifications of teachers at the Filipok Center:All Pteachers working with preschoolers and primary schoolchildren have special secondary and higher education, certified for the first and highest qualification categories(4 teachers of additional education, of which 1 with the first qualification category and 1 teacher with the highest).
To solve the organizational problems of the project, the CRR has the necessary equipment and premises. The gaming room is a large, landscaped space where several tables and chairs are simultaneously placed for games in three blocks; outdoor games can be played on the carpeted floor. The gaming room is equippedmodernOuchaudio equipmentOuch.
CRR "Filipok"has a library of methodologicalliterature, including on play activities of preschoolers. Each teacher has developments, a sufficient number of visual and teaching aids, handouts and game materials.
Expected results of the project
All expected results of the project can be divided into two groups: results - creative products and results - pedagogical effects.
1 group of results. Presumably, these could be thematic developments, quizzes, information booklets, articles, videos and photo albums, etc., created as a result of joint activities of children and adults as part of the work of the Family Toy Library club. This group will also include documents accompanying the activities of the club: Regulations on the children’s and parents’ club “Family Toy Library”, work schedule “Parent’s Diary”, reports from section leaders, summary report on the project.
Group 2 of expected pedagogical results can be of three levels: level of knowledge, level of relationships, level of acquiring life experience.
Participation in active work to create an annotated card index within the framework of the “Game Passport” catalog will help expand the horizons of project participants and the sustainable desire of children and adolescents to acquire systematized knowledge (1st level of results).
Participation in the project will ensure positive dynamics in the development of children’s value orientations and creative abilities, their desire and readiness for joint activities both within the family and in the classes of the Filipok Children’s Education Center or other educational institutions. (Level 2 results).
3) In the process of participating in the project, students will develop the skills of independent analysis and synthesis of personal capabilities, learn ways and techniques for conducting meaningful gaming leisure. The result of participation in socially significant events of the project will be the positive dynamics of students’ social and communication skills, their design and research skills (3rd level of results).
Evaluation of results
“Parent’s Diary” as a way to record observations of a child’s play activities.BThanks to records made in free form, it becomes possible to organize, together with teachers, a diagnosis of the child’s educational path and the growth of parental competencies.
A survey of parents, conducted at the first and final stages of the project, will allow us to assess the dynamics of the development of value orientations in the club’s activities (method “Attitude towards adults and peers” / Author-compiler V. Bogomolov / Rostov n/D: “Phoenix”, 2003).
Prospects for further development of the project
This project, despite its short-term nature (1.5 years), is capable of causing a long-term resonance: the micro-groups of different ages formed within the framework of the project and the annotated catalog of games “Family Passport” can become the basis for traditional or one-time promotions of the Filipok Children's Center and the Kirovsky DDT » for residents of the Zatulinsky microdistrict.

"Family toy library"
At school, children often ask the question, “Why do I need to know this? Why should I learn this?” If the teacher answers them, “In order to write a test and pass the exam,” then the children honestly try to convey this information before the test or exam, and then forget with a clear conscience. And in the game, children easily have time to learn many difficult things - in order to win. And they remember and learn on their own, much more willingly than at school - because they themselves decided to learn it!
Children love to do what interests them and what they are successful in, so games should be selected based on the child’s level, and if necessary, give him a head start or help at first. If a child feels successful in logic games, then he gains confidence in his abilities, and it becomes easier for him to solve various everyday problems.
Often we are able to introduce new games to parents and children, and we especially love those games in which children can play on par with adults, or even beat them. In addition, we usually include several fun outdoor games in the game library, and at the very beginning we conduct familiarization games.
Games for each block are selected in such a way that they are interesting for players of different ages. Most often we play fairly quick games, lasting 10-15 minutes, the rules of which can be explained in 5 minutes.
There are already so many computers in our lives that when a game is mentioned, most people think about computer games. Although we all, without exception, once played some kind of board games. During the Soviet era, gatherings with dominoes or backgammon in parks or courtyards of apartment buildings were common. Connoisseurs of intellectual games usually preferred chess, and lovers of gambling spent their days playing “one hundred and one” or “throwing the fool.” In Soviet times, even quite decent grandmothers could be found playing cards or lotto in the yard.
Now only Soviet films and tables with benches near children's playgrounds, which have been preserved in some old courtyards, remind us of outdoor board games. It seems that no one then thought to call them game libraries, especially since there were official chess clubs and cultural centers. However, there were few popular and accessible board games for adults in the 20th century: chess, checkers, backgammon, dominoes, lotto and cards.
Nowadays, many board games are published; there are excellent translations into Russian of world-famous foreign games for children and adults. A new subculture of board game lovers is developing, who usually gather in groups of similar interests in local anti-cafes. Time club is an establishment where everything is free, except time, and most anti-cafes have a collection of board games and offer free tea, coffee, sweets, and unlimited wi-fi. Of course, there are game cafes where computer games are also offered, but events in anti-cafes always include a game library with board games. However, even fans of board games do not always immediately correctly understand what a gaming library is if they have never been to such an event.
How does a fun games library go in an anti-cafe?
We often play educational games with children or “adult board games” with friends, but if you are not a “fan,” then it gradually gets boring. On the one hand, any board game is an opportunity for live communication, on the other hand, if the company of players does not change or expand, then it becomes boring. And all because the majority constantly wants new experiences - expanding their circle of acquaintances. That is why online games on the computer are now the most popular; we play the same chess, checkers or lotto, but constantly communicate with new people while playing via chat on the Internet. The variety and simplicity of virtual communication during an online game does not let you get bored and even takes you away from reality. The variety of computer “board” games is also impressive, although many of them are adaptations of board games, for example, from modern ones - this is the popular Carcassonne, available also on tablets and smartphones.
People who come to the anti-cafe spend their free time most often playing board games, unless there is a specific event (concert, training or presentation). A free toy library in an anti-cafe is also a kind of event that is announced in advance.
Participation in the game library is free for everyone, you just need to pay for the time at the anti-cafe rates at the exit. Additionally, you get unlimited wi-fi and tea, coffee, and sweets.
The game library in the anti-cafe is a great opportunity to make new acquaintances among creative young people, because you can choose any company that has free seats at the table for some kind of game.
You can come to the game library even if you have never played board games before (they will quickly teach you; there are “board games” with simple rules and easy but exciting game mechanics).
You can bring your own board games; the gaming library can be themed and closed to outsiders (if you agree with the administration of the Time Cafe to be allocated a separate room).
Often the gaming library takes place in the form of a tournament for some kind of board game, and if sponsors are found or a prize fund is reserved, the winners receive real prizes.
There is also a playroom for children, and if the anti-cafe provides animator services, parents will be able to play adult board games with friends and have fun in a separate room while the children's playroom is in progress.
What kinds of educational games are there - toy library for adults
In any anti-cafe, board games are available to all visitors; of course, the collection of “board games” depends on the specific gaming cafe. In almost every anti-cafe you will find: Dixit, Activity or Elias, Carcassonne, Monopoly, Svintus or Uno and cards for the role-playing game Mafia, as well as many other board games.
Some board games have age restrictions, but they allow you to get to know the opposite sex in the most relaxed way. Sometimes a night games library for adults is held, since the advantage of an anti-cafe is that visitors can gather in groups and offer their own options for events. As a result, in almost every anti-cafe there is a mafia (a group of fans of the Mafia role-playing game). “Mafia” players gather regularly in anti-cafes, but they often play other “board games” and organize game libraries.
It should be noted that the board game library is addictive and, after trying it once, most come back to the game library again and again, enthusiastically trying out different board games. Even board game lovers who have their own collection of games at home often go to game libraries, because anti-cafes are convenient for large groups of people to gather together. In addition, the Time Club has a special atmosphere of free space for communication. And in a good anti-cafe, positive administrators charge visitors with fun, help them master the rules of unfamiliar board games, play “mafia” games, and all this is often free. The essence of the anti-cafe is payment only for time, although sometimes they charge a fixed fee for entry to a specific event. To get to the free board game library, keep an eye on the posters in the anti-cafe in your city.
