Horror stories based on real events. Mystical stories from life
In every person's life there are such incidents and stories that make your palms sweat and your hair stand on end. Of course, in fact, most of them are ordinary coincidences, but it is not always possible to believe in it. In fact, there is enough mysticism in our world, so another story, out of the ordinary, can happen to absolutely anyone. Next we will talk about the most mysterious and terrible cases that happened to people.
It happened in Latvia, namely in Riga. The young man recently got married. He decides to get together with his friends and chat a little. Of course, it couldn't be done without alcohol. All night the friends were buzzing at the top of their lungs and having fun like the last time. Lots of alcohol and drugs were present at the party.
After several hours of fun, everyone began to go to their rooms to rest and sleep. One of the friends decides to stay in the kitchen with the hero of the occasion in order to spend the night talking about concepts. When all the alcohol had already been drunk, and my friends could barely stand on their feet, the decision was made to go to bed. Young man, who had recently become a husband, went to his wife’s room, and his friend went to another, where no one was there.
This is where the mysterious story begins, based on real events. As soon as the guy lay down on the sofa, he immediately felt something was wrong: strange creaks and exclamations, swear words spoken in a whisper. Of course, such a situation could frighten anyone. Then a shadow flashed in the mirror located opposite the bed, which fairly frightened the young man. He was afraid to get up, because he did not know what would await him. Then knocking noises were heard, similar to hammering a nail. The thought immediately appeared that alcohol and drugs were making themselves felt. This could be considered true if not for a strong knock, after which the guy can’t stand it and turns on the light.
What he discovers next is simply maddening. There was a hammer lying on the floor, the knocks of which had been heard earlier. Strong fear and a sense of self-preservation took over, and the guy ran to sleep in another room. Waking up, he told a story friends. But they were not laughing. It turns out that this house was built by an adult man who traveled the world. Soon he hanged himself from a tree near the estate. How and why he did this is still not known. And his ghost still haunts the house.
Reading this mysterious story, based on real events, your skin will get goosebumps and your hair will simply stand on end. Sometimes you are amazed at what happens to people.

And one day the moment came when the apartment had to be sold. It was removable, and the owner found a buyer. Consequently, the girl had to move out of the living space belonging to another person. According to the rental agreement, there was only one week left until the next payment. That's how much time was left to find a new apartment.

But there is one discrepancy - my grandfather recently died in this place, and a year before him his grandmother. For some reason, the owner of the apartment decided not to tell this to her friend. Apparently, she wanted more money.
Having packed her bags, the girl finally moves to a new apartment. Of course, she appeared there again very rarely, since it was the end of the year, and it was necessary to prepare various reports for the entire working period. There were no days off at all.
One day, the boss decided to give the girl a gift, giving her a day off. She devoted the whole day to cleaning the apartment. In the evening, tired of all the fuss, she drank a glass of red wine and turned on the TV, where they were showing cartoons. Suddenly young lady I heard her lock opening. Strong fear gripped her. Then the man's footsteps went to the kitchen. For several minutes the apartment tenant lay in bewilderment. Later, having gained strength, she finally decides to go check. But there was no one there.
The next day she told this story to her friend, who was renting her an apartment. She could not restrain herself and said that it was on the sofa where the girl slept that both her grandfather and grandmother died. Most likely, it was their spirits that traveled through the house. A few days later, the resident packed her things and left. She didn't communicate with her friend anymore.
The mystical real story from the lives of real people dates back to the nineties of the last century. It's perestroika, no one has money, everyone is surviving as best they can. And so the unremarkable family lived absolutely like everyone else: a small apartment, two children, an unloved and low-paid job.
But one day the head of the family declares that bought a new car. There were many quarrels over this purchase, since there was no money even for food, and my father was buying transport. The new purchase was an old Audi 80 with over two hundred thousand kilometers on it. And from the first day, for some reason the car did not like its owner: it constantly broke down, some parts fell off, rust “ate” the body.
My father spent days and nights in the garage, trying to fix the problem that had resurfaced. Every day brought miracles: a tire puncture was already such a common thing that the new owner was not at all discouraged, but dutifully repaired his “swallow”.
And then one day, when patience was simply running out, it was decided sell a car. Before preparing for sale, the family decides to wash the car inside and out to create a more or less presentable appearance. The children decided to clean up the trash under the seats, where a package was found.
This bag contained various letters containing all kinds of curses and conspiracies. Of course, this creates great fear. It is not known who left these inscriptions in the car and why, but they made me very nervous. It was decided to dispose of all curses by burning. And so they did.
After this, some strange things began. For example, someone stole my mother’s wallet. Gradually the problems only gained momentum. One of their serious problems was work. For some reason, the boss is so angry with the husband and wife that he decides to deprive them of their salaries. Accordingly, it was necessary to look for new sources of income, because a family with children would simply die of hunger.
And here is the buyer for the car. Having arrived at the right place at the appointed time and having inspected the vehicle, he decides to purchase the car. After spending small test drive, the buyer drove into a hole and punctured the tire. This is just the beginning of his problems. Still, he decides to buy the “cursed” car, unaware of its past. The deal went through, the money was received, the buyer left.
High-quality horror films are generally not very pleasant to watch, and if you know that the plots for them are copied from real life, it becomes completely scary.

“The film is based on real events” - this inscription can be found in the opening credits of quite a few films. Most often, this is nothing more than a publicity stunt designed to increase profits from the film's distribution. However, this collection contains exactly those films that were actually based on very creepy, scary, but nevertheless very real events.

Sylvia was abused by Baniszewski, her children Paula and John, and nearby teenagers Richard Hobbs and Coy Hubbard. Three months later, Likens died of intracerebral hemorrhage, shock and malnutrition. Real story: And again Ed and Lorraine Warren, who claim to have investigated more than 10,000 paranormal cases in their time. This time the film is based on the story of the Perron family. In 1971, the Warrens claimed that the Perron house in Rhode Island, USA, was attacked by a witch named Bathsheba Sherman, who lived there in the 19th century. The curse that was placed on this land was that the people who settled on it died due to various incidents.
Movie: The session of exorcism from a young girl ended in her death. The exorcist priest who performed the ritual was charged with murder, although the process was officially initiated by the Catholic Church.
Real story: At the age of 17, a German girl, Anneliese Michel, experienced her first seizure, after which she was diagnosed with temporal lobe epilepsy. Despite the treatment, the girl's condition worsened and she began to show symptoms of a mental disorder. The bandits also turn out to be members of a satanic cult, and are just looking for a new candidate for sacrifice. Young, unintelligent tourists - what could be better?
Real story: The film was inspired by the story of Adolfo "de Jesus" Constanzo, the leader of a cult that openly practiced ritual human sacrifice. Constanzo kidnapped and killed members of Mexican drug cartels when he was denied a share of the business. His "religion" was a mixture of several different teachings, such as Cuban Santeria, Aztec Santismo, Haitian Voodoo and others. These madmen indulged in drugs and sacrificed human lives to “supernatural forces.” These animals boiled the human brain and heart in a cauldron and ritually ate this brew.
Movie: A young married couple goes on vacation to the Bahamas. The holiday promises to be romantic and exciting. Susan and Daniel book seats on a boat for diving enthusiasts, which promises to take tourists to the most beautiful places in the world's oceans. But a wonderful dive ends in a nightmare. Having surfaced, the heroes discover that the boat has sailed away, leaving them alone in the open sea fifteen kilometers from the shore. And then a school of sharks appears...
Real story: In January 1998, Thomas and Eileen Lonergan were mistakenly left behind by a boat (the number of returning divers was incorrectly counted), only 48 hours later the team accidentally discovered a bag on board, which, judging by the documents in it, belonged to the Lonergans... The next day, the search The pair were scrambled by 17 planes, two helicopters and several private boats, which combed a radius of three thousand miles. Having found neither the spouses themselves nor their bodies, the search was stopped on February 14, 1998. How long the Lonergans had been alive became clear when, six months later, 100 miles north of the Reef, fishermen found a diving board (presumably Tom Lonergan's) used by divers to communicate underwater. On it was written in scrawl: “Monday January 26th; 1998 8:00. To anyone who can help us: We were abandoned at Agentcourt Reef by the Outer Edge on 25 Jan 98 at 15:00. Please save us, send us help before we die. Help!!!".

Movie: Executioner... Animal... Monster... None of these adjectives can accurately describe Jeffrey Dahmer, who is accused of killing, dismembering and eating the bodies of more than 15 young men in Milwaukee. Can such a monster be considered human? This film explores the true nature of man, trying to find the reasons that can make a person lose all inhibitions and turn into something that has no name.
Real story: Jeffrey Dahmer is an American serial killer who killed 17 boys and men between 1978 and 1991. All but one of the crimes occurred in Milwaukee from 1987 to 1991. Dahmer's crimes were characterized by extreme cruelty; he raped and ate the corpses of his victims. Although his perversions - cannibalism, necrophilia - were, as many argue, the result of insanity, the court found Dahmer sane and sentenced him to fifteen life sentences. Two years after this, Dahmer was beaten to death by his cellmate.
Most horror stories are delusional and clearly border on insanity. No matter how it is: some of them are more than just real. We will tell you about them.

Reincarnation
In 1976, hospital orderly Allen Showery from Chicago entered the apartment of colleague Teresita Basa without permission. Probably, the guy wanted to clean out the young lady’s home, but when he saw the mistress of the house, Allen had to stab her and burn her so that the woman would not tell anything.
A year later, Remy Chua (another medical colleague) began to see Teresita's corpse wandering the hospital corridors. It wouldn't be so bad if this ghost was just wandering around. So it moved into poor Remy, began to control her like a puppet, speak in Teresita’s voice and told the cops about everything that had happened.
The police, the relatives of the deceased and Remy's family were shocked by what was happening. But the killer was still split. And they put him behind bars.

Three-legged guest
It's best not to visit Enfield, Illinois. A tripod, one and a half meters tall, slippery and hairy monster with short arms lives there. On the evening of April 25, 1973, it attacked little Greg Garrett (though it only took his sneakers), then knocked on Henry McDaniel’s house. The man was shocked by the sight. Therefore, out of fear, he fired three bullets into the unexpected guest. The monster covered 25 meters of McDaniel's yard in three leaps and disappeared.
Sheriff's deputies also encountered the Enfield monster several times. But no one managed to solve it. Some kind of mysticism.

Brian Bethel is a respected journalist who has built a successful career over a long period of time. Therefore, he does not descend to the level of urban legends. But in the 1990s, the master of the pen started a blog in which he published a strange story.
One evening, Brian was sitting in his car parked in a movie theater parking lot. Several 10-12 year old children approached him. The journalist lowered the window, started looking for a dollar for the kids and even exchanged a few words with them. The children complained that they could not enter the cinema without an invitation, that they were cold and could he invite them into the car. And then Brian saw: in the eyes of his interlocutors there was no white at all, only rabble.
The poor guy instantly closed the window in fear and pressed the gas pedal all the way. His story is far from the only story about strange black-eyed people. Have you already seen such aliens in your area?

Doris Bither is not the nicest resident of Culver City, California. She drinks constantly and abuses her sons. The woman also knows how to summon spirits. In the late 1970s, several researchers decided to verify the authenticity of her stories for themselves. It all ended with the young lady using spells in her home to actually summon a green silhouette of a man who scared everyone half to death. And one daredevil even lost consciousness.
In 1982, based on Biter’s stories, the horror film “The Entity” was made.
