Lesson notes “Kaleidoscope of musical professions. Presentation about the profession of a musician Profession musician presentation for preschool children
A musician is a truly creative profession, which requires constant professional improvement and hard work. At the same time, you can study music professionally, or you can do it for yourself. The first musical instruments appeared in ancient times. Suffice it to recall the primitive tribes who used percussion instruments during the performance of rituals and ceremonies. The history of the creation and development of musical instruments and performing arts has passed through many centuries and has become one of the most important components of the art of peoples.
Gradually, voice performances began to appear to give greater emotional depth and richness to the melodies. Vocal art in a broad sense is the art of conveying artistic, figurative, and ideological content through a singing voice. piece of music. Vocal art associated with the word clearly and easily reflects the composer’s intention, the depth, strength and truth of human characters, expresses thoughts, feelings, and subtle sensations.
Therefore, modern musicians have a huge choice of points to apply their interests - from classical music to the latest trends in show business. That is, a person can be a singer, a musician (play instruments), a conductor, a composer, and also be a member of a musical group.
But when choosing these professions as your main one, you should understand that without special education it will be very difficult to achieve much in it. Moscow State University of Culture and Arts (MGUKI) Moscow State Conservatory named after P.I. Tchaikovsky Academy of Film and Show Business “STARS” by Yana Rudkovskaya
For everyone, music has its own meaning in life. For some, this is a reason to dance in a club, for some, music is work, some see their life in it, while others look for their inspiration in it. The professions of musician and singer are good because there are no clear rules here, like in algebra or geometry - two times two equals four. In music, two and two can be five, or even six. This is creativity, where you can realize your ambitions, you can come up with something new, compose. It’s also nice to bring joy to people and get pleasure from it.

MOTHER'S PROFESSION (N. Samonii)
Who knows everything about music
He has been teaching notes since childhood;
Sings to us like songs, fairy tales
And revealed the melodies of paint?
Who has such talent?
This is a mother-musician!
***
Mom needs it for work
Place notes on the music stand.
Just ask mom -

SOLOIST
I stand in front of the choir
Everyone is silent, and I sing.
Who am I? What kind of artist?
Surely, … (soloist)
SINGER
Everyone wants to hear the star!
Posters are calling for the concert.
There are no empty seats in the hall,
The lights are gradually going out...
Faces disappeared in the darkness
Starts to sing... (singer)
CONDUCTOR
He waves his hands smoothly,
Hears every instrument
He is the most important one in the orchestra,
He is the president of the orchestra!
I AM A CONDUCTOR
I'm on stage in the twilight
I'll go out in an elegant tailcoat.
I’ll wave a thin stick -
The violins will begin to sing,
The harpist will pluck the string,
The pipes will respond.
How wonderfully the orchestra plays!
Well, I’m the most important one in it!
Mystery:
Who is impolite?
turned his back to us,
started waving his arms
right in the hall in front of us?
He is not accustomed to order
or doing exercises?
Who does the orchestra and choir sound with?
We know this... (conductor)
Mystery:
Here the musicians have gathered,
And everyone started playing together,
They pipe, strum, try...
But the music doesn’t work!
So that their music sounds -
They need sheet music to start with.
Who can create music
And write everything down with notes? (composer)
ORCHESTRA AND CONDUCTOR
The orchestra is a living instrument,
He is the loudest and biggest.
With soul, trembling, fire
Who can play it for us? (conductor)
CONDUCTOR AND ORCHESTRA
The orchestra is a living instrument,
He is the loudest and biggest.
With soul, trembling, fire
The conductor plays it.
He is a great music connoisseur,
He is its first performer,
He is completely devoted to music,
And heart, and soul, and body.
He has perfect pitch
And he knows how to breathe music.
He pours spirit into the orchestra members,
He is the discoverer of their talents.
CONDUCTOR
We'll meet a hole on the way -
Ready to scold her
You can't do it in the theater
Without an orchestra pit.
Musicians have been in it for a long time
You should always sit.
The conductor is standing at the console
His task is difficult.
How to make a bassoon
Cello and violin
They took their turn exactly
Without making a mistake
The conductor is watching this
Waves a wand to everyone
There is a choir on stage at this time,
The ensemble of dancers is dancing.
There is no way to be late here -
Play, trumpet, quickly,
Once the conductor suddenly gave a sign
With my wand.
So that he could conduct
And the waltz and the overture -
Of course: remember by heart
I need the whole score
Sonata, fugue, minuet
And a sad rhapsody
Big opera, ballet,
Anyone know the tunes.
We don't see his face
Only hands flash
And they pour, they pour endlessly
Enchanting sounds.
***
...Now the musicians are sad,
And the tools were put aside
The orchestra doesn't sound at all.
What to do? How so?
To harmoniously play
Who should they call? (conductor)
He runs the orchestra
Although he doesn’t play himself.
The conductor is stern in appearance,
His back is to the audience.
He waved his wand
Like a sorcerer,
Indicate who starts
And when the soloist enters,
Where the drums sound
And where the strings are silent...
The hall froze in anticipation
And then the orchestra began to play!
(S.Yu. Volkov from “All about Music”)
MUSICIAN - VIOLINIST

Games, creative tasks
(games developed by I.S. Kurkina are marked with *)"We are musicians"* (junior group)
.
Tasks: form an idea of the elementary meaning of the concept of “musician”.
Progress of the game: All children have “musical instruments” - rattles (or any other). Any cheerful music is used to accompany the game. While it is playing, children freely “play” the music on their instruments. Explain to children: “musicians are people who play music.” The only “rule”: when the music ends, their instruments must also “silence.” Then the children change their instruments. When repeating the game, children are invited to play “differently” (offer a different technique or way of playing instruments - for example, play “very quietly” / “loud”; “very fast” / “slowly”, etc.).
“Musician – singer – dancer”* (junior, middle groups).
Tasks: to form an idea of the professional affiliations and occupations of people in musical professions.
Progress of the game: Each playing child has a play set: a musical instrument (any), a handkerchief, a ribbon on a stick, a toy. The adult calls “profession” and then music plays, to which the child performs the corresponding actions (“musician” - plays a musical instrument; “dancer” - dances freely with or without any object; “singer” - stands still and sings freely “la-la-la...”).
"I am a famous musician" (senior preschoolers).
Tasks: model the professional activity of a musician, consolidate ideas about instrumental musicians.
Progress of the game: A child leader (“musician”) is chosen by counting or by agreement. He stands opposite the rest of the children (“choir”). They sing “roll call” to the music of the game:
MUSICIAN: I am a famous musician, I came from distant countries...
CHORUS: He is a famous musician, he came from distant countries!
MUSICIAN: I play…. (names the instrument, for example: trumpet)
CHORUS: He plays ..... (trumpet)!
Further, preserving the melody of the music, the “musician” imitates the movement and sounds of the instrument he named, and the “choir” repeats everything after him. Then, as the music plays, the “musician” approaches the child, whom he chooses as the new “musician” instead of himself. They change places, and the game is repeated with the condition that the “new musician” must choose another musical instrument.
"ONCE UPON A TIME THE MUSICIANS" (senior preschoolers).
(German folk song).
Chorus: One day the musicians gathered to perform,
Everyone took their instruments and started playing.
1. I’ll play for you, I’ll play the pipe,
Repeat, don't waste time
Chorus:(same)
2. I’ll play for you, I’ll play the violin
Chorus:(same)
3. I’ll play for you, I’ll play a drum
Repeat, don't waste time
…………………. /RHYTHMO-SYLLABLE IMPROVISATION /
Chorus:(same)
4. I’ll play for you, I’ll play something
You can guess, don’t waste time.
…………………. /RHYTHMO-SYLLABLE IMPROVISATION/
"Talented conductor" (senior preschoolers).
Tasks: to form an idea of the professional skills of a conductor.
Progress of the game: All children receive cards with the names (or pictures) of different musical instruments. One of the children is a conductor. Children depict each of their musical instruments, and the conductor guesses which instrument sounds in his orchestra.
"Music of the rain"*. (Creative task, any age).
Tasks: to form an idea of the professional activity of the composer, to intensify the development of creative abilities.
Content: Children are invited to compose and perform “rain music”, improvising it on a metallophone or other instrument.
Explain to the children: they are composers; these are the people who make the music.
"A real conductor" (senior preschoolers).
Tasks: simulate the professional activity of a conductor.
Progress of the game: A “conductor” is selected. The remaining children are divided into 3-4 subgroups, placed according to the groups of instruments. Music plays (at the choice of the music director). The conductor leads his orchestra - conducts, shows which group of instruments (and what rhythm) to play, when to play for everyone together, when for selected soloists.
"Play my music"* (Creative game modeling, senior preschool age).
Tasks: simulate the professional activity of a conductor, get acquainted with the difficulties of the tasks solved by a conductor in his professional activity. Activate the development of children's creative abilities and communication skills.
Progress of the game: A “conductor” and one (or more) “musicians” are selected, who receive melodic musical instruments. An adult (and then a child) plays the role of a “composer” - he “secretly” tells the conductor what and how the musicians should play (for example, a smooth melody, quietly, then abruptly and loudly.) The “conductor” must figure out how to show musicians what he learned from the composer. The musicians “perform” what the “conductor” shows.
After the game, children are asked to evaluate themselves in the role of conductor - performer - composer.
"I play in an orchestra" (Creative task, older preschoolers).
Tasks: to form an idea of the tasks and importance of the conductor’s profession.
Progress of the game: Children should imagine that they are playing different musical instruments and pretend to be an orchestra. First, children “play” without a conductor, and then they choose a conductor and “play” under his direction. After that, everyone discusses when it was easier to “play.” This game can be played to the sound of symphonic music.
Musical stories and stories
The secret of singing
A forest bell grew in a clearing in the forest and rang gently for the whole forest. The robin heard its ringing and chirped:
“Your bell rings beautifully, but it’s very quiet, the forest can’t hear it.”
“It’s a pity, but I wanted to perform a solo song at the concert in honor of the forest’s birthday,” the bell said sadly.
“Don’t be sad, little bell,” chirped the robin. - Let's sing a song together. We will perform not solo, but as a duet.
The bell agreed, and they sang together. The bell rang gently, the robin sang sweetly, but the song did not work out.
The woodpecker heard their song and said:
- Your duet lacks volume and rhythm. If you want, I'll help you. I can beat out a ringing rhythm with my beak. We won't have a duet, but a trio.
The robin and the bell agreed and the three of them sang together with the woodpecker. We tried our best. The bell rang gently, the robin sang sweetly, the woodpecker knocked loudly, but the song again did not work out. Here a grasshopper chirped from the grass:
- Your trio doesn’t have enough chatter. Take me, I’ll sing along with you, and we’ll have not a trio, but a quartet.
The grasshopper singers took the grasshopper into their group and the four of them began to learn a song for the forest, but again nothing worked out for them.
- Maybe we should invite other famous musicians? - suggested the bell.
- Everyone was offended and began to prove that they were the best famous musicians In the woods.
“It’s not about the musicians, but about some secret,” creaked the old wise spruce tree, near which the forest singers were rehearsing. Call the Fairy of Music, she knows all the secrets of music.
The singers called the fairy of Music. She immediately flew in and said:
- The secret here is simple. You each sang your own song, but to sing as a duet or quartet, you all need to sing the same song together and listen to each other.
The singers listened to the fairy's advice. First, everyone sang the song of the bluebell together, then the song of the robin, and then the woodpecker and grasshopper.
- When I sang the robin’s song, my voice became louder; and when the woodpecker’s song became louder, the bell rejoiced.
The concert was a great success. The forest quartet performed four songs: bluebell, robin, woodpecker and grasshopper.
- Thank you, friends, for the songs. I have never heard such folding and sonorous songs,” the forest rustled its branches. - And thank you for the most important gift.
The singers were surprised because they no longer had gifts for the forest.
“The most important gift for me is that you learned to sing together and listen to each other,” explained the forest.

Conductor's stick
When Seryozha came to visit his grandmother, he most liked to look at various items in grandma's dresser drawers. Antique boxes and jewelry, openwork hats and fans. Only one large box was never opened by grandma.
“This is grandpa’s, there’s nothing interesting for you there,” said grandma. Seryozha knew that his grandfather was a musician, but he died very early, and there were almost no things left from him in the house. Only one old photograph in which grandfather was sitting at the piano.
This piano still stood in my grandmother’s room, and Seryozha learned to play it.
One day, grandma left on business, and Seryozha was left alone in the house. He opened the chest of drawers, and his grandfather’s box caught his eye. “Still, I wonder what is there?” - the boy thought and tried to open the lid.
Fortunately, the lid gave way easily, and the boy saw that the box was empty. Only at the bottom lay a wooden stick that looked like a pointer. “Why does grandma keep some kind of pointer in such a beautiful box,” the boy thought with bewilderment.
He took the wand in his hands. She was light and as if alive.
“What if this is a magic wand,” the boy thought with a sinking heart. He waved his wand three times and said loudly: “One, two, three, create a miracle.”
Nothing happened. Seryozha tried all the spells he had heard and could come up with himself, but the wand did not work. Seryozha was a little upset at first, but then he began to happily jump around the room, waving his wand.
At some point, Seryozha, without knowing why, suddenly stopped, closed his eyes and began waving his baton, imagining himself as a conductor.
And the wand seemed to come to life. She twitched a little, and from somewhere on the side came the quiet, barely audible sound of drums: “tra-ta-ta.” The stick moved its tip from bottom to top, and the flute began to sing, followed by the clarinet. The wide semicircle of the stick awakened the violins. The baton floated in the air, as if on waves, and the music of the violins either flew up or fell down, meeting there with violas, cellos and the bass voice of the double bass.
One after another, obedient to the movements of the stick, more and more musical instruments were included in the choir, and the music sounded louder and louder.
Suddenly the grandmother’s hand fell on the boy’s shoulder, and everything instantly became quiet.
- Granddaughter, what’s wrong with you! I'm calling you, but you don't hear? - Grandma said in fear.
“Grandma is a magic wand,” Seryozha even began to stutter from excitement.
“You finally got to grandpa’s box,” grandma clasped her hands. - This conductor's baton is the only thing that remains with me as a memory of my grandfather. This is not a toy. I don't want her to disappear. Put it back.
- Grandma, how don’t you understand! This is truly a magic wand. She can make a whole orchestra sound! - the boy exclaimed.
“I know that she is magical,” the grandmother answered calmly. - All conductor’s batons are magic, didn’t you know, granddaughter? But now put the wand down. The Fairy of Music allows only wizard conductors to hold it in their hands.
Seryozha sighed, put the wand in the box, and then asked:
- Grandma, if I become a conductor, will you give me this baton?
“Definitely, I really want you to become a real wizard, like your grandfather, the conductor,” the grandmother answered seriously.

The conductor and his baton
You've probably been to the Opera House. You arrived and took your seats in the hall. The performance hasn't started yet. But the musicians had already gathered below the stage. You hear them tuning their instruments. An unimaginable noise is coming to you! It seems that nothing beautiful will come out of these sounds. But there will also be solo singers and a choir! But then the curtain opens, and... beautiful music starts flowing.
The fact that all instruments sound harmoniously and clearly is the merit of the conductor - he leads a huge orchestra. And everything happens with the help of a small wooden stick.
This thin wand is sometimes called a magic wand. After all, one swing of it can cause the thunder of timpani and the sounds of trumpets, the singing of violins and the gentle trills of flutes. The magic wand becomes only in the hands of the conductor. It is needed in opera and symphony orchestras, in choirs and ensembles - wherever music is performed by a large group.
IN ancient Greek theater the main figure was luminary- He conducted the choir, and the musicians obeyed him. The luminaries beat out the rhythm with a sole bound in iron, and conducted with their hands.
In the Middle Ages, church conductors enjoyed special respect. The symbol of their musical power was a heavy, skillfully finished baton.
In 18th-century opera, the conductor was called a “woodcutter” because he held a stick 1 meter 80 centimeters long in his hands. This stick - in Italian it was called “battuta” - was used to beat out loud rhythm during the performance. It was not very pleasant to listen to music with such accompaniment, because the leader of the orchestra was banging on the floor, beating out the rhythm.
And in the Italian opera there were two conductors: one, a violinist, led the orchestra, the other, a harpsichordist, led the singers. The place behind the harpsichord was dangerous; the author of the opera usually sat there. He often experienced the public's reaction to his work. If the temperamental Italians did not like the music, rotten tomatoes and rotten eggs were thrown at the unfortunate author.
In the 19th century the composition symphony orchestra increased, and it became simply impossible to play the instrument and conduct at the same time. And then the first violinist of the orchestra, he was called the concertmaster, put down his violin and became a conductor.
The skill of playing in the orchestra developed, and the voices of new instruments appeared. It became more difficult to control their sound and “silent” conducting arose - with hand gestures. But the musicians were not always able to follow the movements of the conductor’s hand, and to make the gesture more noticeable, the masters began to use various objects.
Most often, the conducting instrument was a violin bow or several sheets of music rolled into a roll. Some maestros chose larger items. For example, the composer Mendelssohn conducted with a cane covered with leather, and Hector Berlioz considered an ordinary gnarled branch to be the ideal object.
However, all conductors always stood facing the audience - showing their back was considered indecent.
Richard Wagner was the first to break the tradition. He and his contemporaries Mendelssohn, Liszt, Berlioz were the first conductors in the modern sense. They led the orchestra.
A small wooden baton was first used for conducting by composers and conductors Karl Weber and Ludwig Spohr. They did this independently of each other. New way I liked conducting so much that the baton became the conductor’s faithful assistant. Development of vocal and choral skills in music classes in kindergarten
